All these backflip, spinning tricks are very nice. But i'm still waiting for the T-50 to pull a takeoff like what the F-22 did in Fairford 2010:

wait till the T50 gets the Izd 30 engine

and besides

the Mig 29 has been doing that takeoff that the F22 did for ??????years???? decades??:)

and the mig does it more energetically than the Raptor

older Rd 133 Engine,
the new Rd 33 MK Sea Wasp engine is smokeless
though it smokes a little when it accelerates
which even the F22 does

one of the Visiting F16 pilots in Cope India 2004 mentioned the IAF doing it.

any way there is a video of an Indian navy Mig 29K doing something similar

Yes i've seen this Polish MiG-29 takeoff video, and i agree with you (well almost :p ) dispite being an old bird the fulcrum did an awesome job. Now let's see what can the T-50 do with the new engine.

You guys can count the seconds. F-22 definitely does it better than all the rest. PAKFA should be able to do that with later engines too. Russians may have a long tradition of air show preparations but F-22 has an TWR to lift advantage, that is difficult to match with all that power and wing on it.

But you seriously want to see what additionally PAKFA can do and probably no other aircraft can then watch this. Sorry if already posted.

Su30 may be able to do a little bit like that but most likely it will lose altitude doing that. PAKFA almost does not seem like losing altitude, at all, doing that yaw maneuver, even with the current under powered engines. With later addition engines PAKFA is only going to be more interesting. Imagine the sphere its sensors and weapons will cover in less than 2 seconds.

So, guys, now we have a view on the main T-50 Air to Ground weapons.
Let me introduce you the following:
1 - Kh-58UShK-TP (Х-58УШК-ТП) - a Kh-58UShK variant augmented with bi-spectral IR/UV seekers to kill the radars switched off their rediation:




2 - Kh-59M2 (Х-59М2) - Light compact tactical stealth ALCM with a range of 290km (for export) and 550km (for internal) versions. Rumors have tould us that India will get "special" export version with a range extended up to 350km:






3 - Kh-36 Grom 1 (Х-36 Гром-1) - tactical missile (up to 130km launching from low altitudes and 260km from 5km) and Kh-36P Grom-2 (Х-36П Гром-2) - Gliding LGB (with additional 250kg warhead instead of booster) - both created on the base of Kh-38M short range tactical missile and also have a modular structure, warheads and seekers:




Kh-36P can be in 2 variants: 250kg and 500kg.

And a PAK FA programme timeline from the KNAAZ insiders (for 10.08.2015):
Т-50-1 - 219 fh, 197 landings.
Т-50-2 - 221 fh, 221 landings. 24.07.2015 sideway weapons bay has being destructed under VPU-50 (ВПУ-50) short range AAM launcher test. Aircraft has been repaired, a new sideway weapons bay (БГрО) design has been developed and will be applied to T-50-6-2 Stage II prototype.
Т-50-3 - 300 fh, 151 landings. Fuselage fuel tank has leaked near the left intake. Aircraft has being repaired and having further tests preparations in LII (Zhukovskiy).
Т-50-4 - 169 fh, 106 landings.
T-50-5R (repaired) - a T-50-5 after fire repair project has been completed, giving the tech guys fucking valuable experience in composite parts repair process. Will be delivered to LII in this October or November.

And the best part:
A Stage II prototype T-50-6-2 has been assembled and now undergoes systems debugging, structure tests, and ATTENTION!!! the first time in T-50 history a RAM coatings application!!!
The 1-st flight is planned - on 01.12.2015, then the bird will be transported to LII and will undergo complete RF/RCS trials. After that it will pe sent to the rest ones for pre-production flight tests on 15.01.2016 (planned).

T-50-8 - the second Stage II prototype undergoes assembly process and will be delivered in the middle of 2016.

And yes, another interesting new: VVS became VKS (Vozdushno-Kosmicheskie Sily - Air and Space Forces - first and only in the world) from August 2015, combining all the air, apace and AD/BMD forces under the joint command :)

I don't even know, whether I should wait for some starfighters and Imperial warcruisers here... :)

Do you have more info on the K-300 AAM?
It's not much to say about it because is known a very few things.
It is under the trials now, the first LRIP has already finished. But it still has no export certificate and cannot be displayed on exibitions (just like R-77-1 MRAAM and Item 610/810 LRAAMs).
It has bi-spectral (IR/UV) seeker, LOAL capability.
It also has 1.5 times reduced wait comparable to R-73/74 (95kg instead of 150), reduced range (30km instead of 45) in exchange for twice better agility (it can heat 20g targets instead of 12g for R-73/74). It allows K-300 to be used for T-50 missile defence (to heat enemy AAMs).
There are rumors that AAM version will also have transport/launch container like short range SAM for Tor M2, but it is nothing but rumors.

So it is a clean sheet design and not the R-74M2 which was rumoured to be the short range missile for T-50. From the looks of it, Russia has once again beaten West in this department. Last I checked only Israelis were thinking of putting dual seeker on an AAM.

R-74M2 will be used on external stores only.
E.g., for T-10, MiG-29 and the others from the 4-th gen.
