Well, considering the Payload MKI will be housing in next two years including BRAHMOS (2.8+ mach) & NIRBHAY (1000Km) it makes MKI 30 pretty deadly & better than any other flanker around. MKI is a iconic project with variety of technology crammed into it.
Please make these things clear to Uchiha cause she is not ready to listen anyone. Just going on criticizing Indian technologies.

Let UchihaCG have its own view. Facts remain un-altered. IAF/MOD has spent enough time & money on making MKI what it is today. It ain't waste. Its a best Air Superiority Fighter in Asia this present day IMHO.

Dear Mr. Singh, COOL Down! I agree NRJ Sir, MKI is one of a kind multi role air superiority fighter customized to IAF's requirements. Moreover IAF's pilot's expertise and experience on this aircraft makes it deadly combination. This is the best of it's kind.

PLAF operates both Su 30 MKK/MK2 which numbers around 127.
Here is the comparision from your given links:-
Everything is around same except these,
Specifications in the form of , MKI then MKK
Max Take Off weight=38,800KG and 34,500
Max Speed=Mach 2.35(2500KM/HR) and 2120 KM/HR
Range= 5000km and 3000 km
Endurance=4.5hr and (not given)
and variety of superb missiles for MKI.
You need to stop with your on-going rant about this. Here's what YOU said. And this is what you're saying now???!

You see there is nothing to be compared in Su 30 MKK and MKI because MKK variant is no match for Su 30MKI. Take any specification such as speed, payload, range, weapons Su 30 MKI is above the MKK.

Can anyone tell me whether their is a hard point difference between the two and how many hard points are there in both the versions?
Dude, the MKK has a better engine than the MKI... just so you know. And the MKI may be better than the MKK but not by a huge margin. Main differences are TVC, Canards, and Israeli/Indian Avionics.

MKI isn't god compared to MKK.
I rest my case.

The MKI with our brave experienced pilots and extensive ongoing training is a force to be reckoned with and can be a match for any plane that we encounter. That is not to say that we shouldn't always try to be better (because China is getting better) but right now our planes are better and hopefully we will get our Sukhoi's updated so we can stay ahead of other countries.

Hc, the main case is we have the source code for EW of the MKIs and we know about it in and out. So it wont be a big deal for us to crack the enemies *ss. Thats why people are shouting that MKI is the best

MKI has a mixture if Indian modifications and Israeli avinonics. It surely is the best when in comparison to MKK. We made MKI technologically superior from the su-30 unlike china who as usual copied it and made j-11.

When I said that "everything is around the same" then it means that I was talking about the length, height, width, crew, wing area, powerplant (if you look carefully MKI has a better one), rate of climb, thrust weight ,etc.
And in the main comparision, as done in mah previous post, MKI is above MKK for sure. Why dont you refer Wikipedia? And also see there the list of other aircrafts comparable to both MKI and MKK and refer those jets.. You will get your answer of who is better.

This thread is to discuss Su-30MKI and MKK.....It is already proved that MKI model is better then MKK in Avionics as well as TVC and other aspects....If they come face to face then MKI's will definately Bully MKK's.....I am not saying that MKK's wont give a fight....but the thruth is that MKI's are better thats why they will dominate MKK's......
There are other fighters that are better than MKI's....So no harm in accepting that MKI's are better than MKK's......

Thats IT.....

I for one don't think there is much difference between them regarding max speed, range , payload, etc. After all they have essentially the same airframe and power plant, and they cost about the same as well. Different figures may be quoted by different sources or under different contexts.

Don't think the canards and 2D thrust vectoring engines are that significant game breaker either.

Su30MKI has better avionics (heard it has some western stuff), that's the most important difference here.

Payload is more compare to MKK..
Also engines are powerful with 3d vector..
Also it can carry PJ-10 supersonic cruise missiles..
Both aircraft may look same but their airframes are different..

The Su-27, Flanker-B NATO-designation, is a single-seat, twin-engine, long range, air defense fighter designed to counter the F-15 Eagle and NATO fighter aircraft. It can accommodate R-27 and R-73 missiles for short, medium and long range air-to-air engagements. In addition, a built-in GSh-301 30mm gun provides very short range air-to-air engagement capability.

The Su-27 air defense fighter can also carry out escort missions in support of Tu-22M, Backfire NATO nickname, as well as other bomber/attack aircraft such as the Su-24, Fencer NATO nickname. Despite its size and weight, the Su-27 and its derivatives are the most maneuverable aircraft ever flew.

The Su-27 Flanker features an integrated Infrared Search and Track (IRST) system located in front of the cockpit's canopy. The IRST system together with a helmet-mounted sight, the R-73 advanced short range air-to-air missile, and Su-27's maneuverability outperforms any existing fighter aircraft in a short range air-to-air engagement.

The Su-30, also known as the Su-27P, is a derivative of the Su-27UB twin-seat trainer designed to provide long endurance, through in-flight refueling, improved air defense capability. Su-30s can share airborne targets information in the same way that groups of Mig-31 interceptors do. Up to ten targets can be shared by a group of 5 Su-30 fighters to engage targets in a cooperative way. The latest air-to-air weapons can be employed by the Su-30 fighter.

The Su-30MK, a further improvement over the Su-30, can perform air-to-surface missions employing precision-guided weapons while retaining the advanced air-to-air features introduced in the early Su-30s. The MK model is intended as the standard configuration for Su-30 aircraft.

The Su-30 fighter achieved initial operational capability with the Russian Air Force in 1992. The Su-30MK advanced multi-role fighter is available for export. About 40 Su-30MK, under the Su-30MKI designation, have been sold to India with 140 Su-30MKIs to be produced in India by the HAL Corporation under a license manufacturing agreement between 2003 and 2017. The initial batch (50) of Russian-built Su-30MKs ordered by India between 1996 and 1998 was upgraded to the impressive Su-30MKI configuration. A second batch of 40 Su-30MKIs was ordered in 2007. In 2003 Malaysia ordered 18 Su-30MKMs, based on the Su-30MKI design, equipped with western avionics to be delivered by 2008. Algeria ordered 16 Su-30MKI(A) jets in April 2010.

The Su-30MKI features canard foreplanes and AL-31FP thrust vectoring control engines achieving the super-maneuverability concept. Super-maneuverability means that the airplane can aim at any direction within seconds to fire an air-to-air missile without changing its bearing. Super-maneuverability can be used in many situations during a mission.

India's Su-30MKI multi-role fighter-bomber is one of the best 4-5 generation aircraft currently available. Its range can be extended from 3,000 kilometers to 5,200 kilometers with only one air refueling. The extended range capability along with its outstanding payload capacity were envisaged as the most important asset for India allowing to perform deep strike attacks in Pakistan and China.
