Chinese will not use that port to wage war against India. Are they what Stupid? We all know who rules the waves in Indian Ocean. So, take a chill pill
Well, the world would see shift of balance soon. The changing world order and island nation becoming vessel states for CCP is something for us Indians to think about.

Case in point,

In 1970 - 1980s, when cold-war was at its height, Nicaragua, Columbia, N. Mexico, Chile was used as vessel states to pump passive bleeding to American youth via drugs. These nations were also armed with militia to plot Fedayeen attacks on N. America.

However recent developments have showed same signs. Infiltration of SriLankan Tamils with the help of ISI, which were recently discovered by NIA.

So why the f*** should we take a chill pill buddy?

What are you blaming him for this mess.

Ask the cucks sitting on top why they won't do anything to stop this nonsense.

Blaming? I think it's a matter of opinion. As for the cucks, they already in bed with CCP. Rest assured we might see a frigate sometime soon there.

'Hub and Spokes' policy as mentioned by MOD ji @ezsasa
If you ask me. It is better to play hardball with a small and insignificant island like Sri Lanka which is on the verge of bankruptcy and imports even paper.

Handing out doles will mostly have little to know effect until and unless we bribe the right people in their govt.

India needs to have military bases in that region to check over on arms and gold smuggling while preventing an other front from opening in that region.

India commits to strengthen defence cooperation with Sri Lanka

India and Sri Lanka also cooperate closely in training and capacity building in the defence sphere. Indian military establishments, including the National Defence College, have produced leaders of the Sri Lankan armed forces. Every year, 1,500 to 1,700 slots are allocated to Sri Lankan personnel, which amounts to an outlay of around ₹500 million to ₹550 million (more than $6 million). Similarly, Indian military officers are hosted by the armed forces of Sri Lanka, including for specialised training modules in fields such as counter-insurgency.

As many as 23 Tamil Nadu fishermen were arrested by Sri Lanka on Monday, Chief Minister M K Stalin apprised the Centre and sought action to secure the release of fishers and their boats from the neighbouring country.

Writing to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Stalin said that 23 fishermen and their five fishing boats were taken into custody by the Sri Lankan Navy on November 28.

"In this year alone, 221 Tamil Nadu fishermen were apprehended by Sri Lankan Navy. The repeated instances of arrests by the Sri Lankan navy are causing severe stress and anguish among the fishermen community in Tamil Nadu who are solely dependant on fishing. The fragile coastal economy is facing a crisis and it needs our support," the CM said.

As of now, 105 fishing boats of Tamil Nadu are under Sri Lankan custody. The fishermen, apprehended in previous instances, were released by Lanka due to continuous efforts of the government, Stalin said.

However, their fishing boats still remained under Sri Lankan custody.

"I therefore request you to take necessary diplomatic initiatives to restrain the Sri Lankan Navy from apprehending our fishermen and also enable the early release of all the fishermen and their fishing boats now under Sri Lankan custody," the chief minister urged the external affairs minister. -- PTI
