That is what Bretton woods system is all about. To make matters worse scumbag Nixon took that one step ahead and delinked dollar and gold. We need to build our manufacturing capability and force other countries to accept our currency in trade in future. Ofcourse it's a long drawn process.

Exactly, the whole system is rigged to make the dollar stronger and make the lives of Muricans easier and enslave the other lot. Look at their Covid bailout packages- they simply printed India's GDP worth of dollars and distributed among their people. And interestingly, during the same tenure Rupee didn't gain any value against that currency. So all the Indians working hard all year long is equivalent to one decision by the US government to print currency, in this rigged system. This dollar addiction has to go otherwise this criminal empire will flourish forever.

No answer for now. But a new alliance has to rise with its centre in the East. US power is maintained thru- Control over critical technologies, control over critical resources, control over nations. That has to shift (could've shifted faster if China wasn't all short-sighted and went on a pissing off spree in the world).

Well for starters Indian HDI is lower than Sri Lanka. Which is a huge problem.

Then there are extremist issues which India couldn't tackle yet.

And also, there is a concern about the pervasive laws regarding marriage and stuff.

As a dharmic country Lanka should come into senses and assimilate itself with Bharath varsha economically, culturally and militarily, without giving up it's identity. Lack of leadership is what missing. Hope it will revive itself from the dark days.

Maybe. But, I don't think any one can claim them to be offshoots of Hinduism.

In my view. Those are all different schools of thought influenced by Hinduism specially Vedic Tradition.
