Back then their was strictly no requirement of full auto, people hate full auto ..

OFB came up with various variants, including Kalantak carbine which was turned down due to its inaccuracy at 300ms range and bigger recoil compare to 9mm, Similarly the full auto came into the era when full auto was hated in regular army.

In 2019, Army now floating RFI for kalantak sort of carbine and full auto is now a thing.

you have anything to tell about this version of INSAS ?

This seems like the only pic of this particular version of INSAS.

As from data from OFB's website about this variant it seems like an alternative that was offered to Army back when it got adopted with all fire modes (Single Fire,3 Round Burst and Full Auto) instead of 1B series ones with Single Fire and 3 Round Burst only.

What is the status of this partiular variant ? Was it adopted in any significant number or not and why...

A little info about Groza programme,btw

Groza was not a simple bullpup version of AKS-74U rather russian 'counterpart' of SOPMOD kit on M4 carbine,as it was supposed to be a modular platform having detachable barrels and attachments
so in essense,it was an assault rifle (standard configuration with standard barrel),medium range precision weapon (standard configuration + scope),carbine (shorter barreled config) and grenadier's weapon (a special underbarrel grenade launcher that also acts as trigger for firearm itself,and yes it's detachable on this weapon)

they also had plans to put up further attachments like different optics,lights,lasers on it but very limited success of this firearm/platform forced them to put it on shelf.

>So in a way i wonder if this Bullpup INSAS is a similar development or what,as rails allow it to put countless types of attachments on it to make it a 'multipurpose' firearm,also it needs to be looked if it also allows for different barrel configurations and so.

The butt of it from the magazine well back looks of a poor quality and poor but the rest of it looks promising enough. What I am particularly happy to see is they are finally getting to grips with and focusing on the little details- iron sights, quality P-rails, quality hand guard and a foregrip.
