i think this is one of the ofb made akm clones..(it could also be an east german mpi as the buttstock is partially viible it is impossible to judge)

Most CRF use German MPI and Bulgarian AKM, Indian Army use Romaian AKM and now days Bulgarian AKM, In Early Days OFB AKM comes in black and had unique gas regulator..

This is me 8 years Ago, Note the gas regulator on OFB AKM..

Now With Orange Fiber Body, different Mag, and no gas regulator..

Is it too obvious to state that incidents like that are the result of inadequate training, or a lack of decisiveness on the part of the authority who deploy the troopers?

I did have riot-control training many years ago, and it is not trivial.

These forces are deployed under UN over Congo where they conduct Anti-narcotic operations, Usually these Woman are armed with a AK also a Stick, Their are instance where in close combat situation smuggler try to overpower the guard and try to take away the rifle, After all its a service Rifle if lost or damage their is a long report have to be submitted and their will be a inquiry..

The first OFB AKM came in green then they changed it into black than orange, Bulgarian AKM don`t come with gas regulator....

Gas regulator dont effect AKM rate of fire.




The gas regulator version was limited..
