Anything can be done. But the real question is, will it stand the test of constitutionality. There are enough precedents in law that "the basic structure of constitution can't be amended" and if Supreme Court decides that Art 370 is part of basic structure, it can't be amended nor taken away directly or indirectly. But...if SC decide otherwise it will do a lot of good to India as a Nation.

Trump is mental nutcase, he is totally unreliable. He actually wants to show their junta in the next election that he solved one long pending world problem in his tenure and he is a statesman. He tried to "solve" korean peninsula and realised he failed now. Then he went for Iran, now fast realising it's out of his hands too. The troops are being airlifted because it is a perfect time for Pakistan to pull off a pulwama like strike which will bring India and Pakistan to brink of war . What? When did Supreme Court get to decide what to write in Constitution? Who gave them the mandate to decide that? Supreme Court can at best act when the government will is weak and has no support from people. When the government flexes muscle with people's support, Supreme Court has no say. SC becomes relevant only when there is a clash between 2 set of elites in legislature and elites in judiciary both of whom lack popular support

Trump steps in to save pakistan's ass from a pounding. Trump or John Bolton last time, did not pitch in as a judge, but as beggars trying to pull their kid's (Pakistan) nuts out of fire ... Leverage is a finite commodity, and US would not like to do this often, and expend precious leverage... He would prefer to mediate during peace time..
