Can anyone identity what are these ? Gafoora is trying to sell these as cluster bombs of India. Do we have the ability to drop cluster bombs from artillery ?

That does look like a part of an ammunition of a cluster bomb. But these bombs can only be dropped from aircrafts, I am not aware of any cluster bomb which can be fired from an artillery shell. Is that a tacit confirmation of an air raid ?

Looks like component of an Israeli cluster bomb....

Well am thinking "IF" our forces have used such bombs for arty positions located within the civilians population, this would have caused devastation on the target as fragments can penetrate thick armour with very high kill rate. No doubt porki casualties would have very high.

Some days back I posted as per my boys that porkis used air burst munitions for maximum casualty on our side n boys said that tonight will be blood bath. could be this was the response

These are ‘bomblets’ or submunitions from a cluster bomb artillery round, they are ‘Anti Material’ in design meaning that they are designed to destroy vehicles, tanks, and armaments.



Looking into the base you see a the copper lining of a ‘shaped charge’. When it hits it’s target the shaped explosive charge will crush and invert the copper cone into a molten ‘slug’ which will punch its way through armor and metal plating destroying the target.



The bomlets are stacked in clusters of seven, one surrounded by six, here on a base plate. The ribbon or ‘drogue’ on top acts like a parachute – orienting the devise so that the base with the copper cone will be facing down when it is initiated.



The clusters of seven are stacked one on top of the other inside the artillery round.

But it's ok... Pakis used to say earlier that we used chemical weapons on Kashmiris... So, cluster bombs are a downgrade
