To keep our soldiers fit to fight, we will be needing some training and live experience. As long as the losses on it side is minimal, such training actually helps in long term fighting ability. Without training and battle hardening of soldiers, when real war comes, India may have unfit soldiers who may run away like the Chinese soldiers without battle hardening run away from UN peacekeeping operations of Africa

My friend what I meant was, there will be small CFV today tomorrow sometimes we will lose javans sometimes they will. But it will not become a reason to go for war.

Our military need atleast 6 months to prepare as we were not battle hardened past 10 years after Kargil. Especially the navy and airforce. Only past 3 years it has gained momentum. The rotation of troop to give them experience of combat they need to be stationed in Kashmir in numbers and also for Paramilitary in case of full fledged war.

This is a serious issue and war can only be fought when we are sure of winning it be it against weakest enemy. I don't see any reason to fight war with Pakistan unless until they occupy our positions. There is no call to occupy land inside POJK , for what would we want to fight the war?

Sad to hear from a friend that those civilians in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) who are uploading photographs or videos of fear due to India Pakistan LoC clashes are being threatened, intimidated and picked up by Pakistan Army personnel in the area. Lot of grief for locals.

It was After 65 if I recall correctly and also during 1948 we returned captured area.
1971 was secularism at its best ,we gained nothing and lost our men and economy .

You are wrong here tho, we kept some territory captured during 1971 war. Turtuk Valley is a great example. We also kept some part of Leepa Valley.
