Soldiers will still martyred due to this continuous cross border terrorism. Due you know more soldiers have been martyred in peace in comparison to war time? So why not end this once and for all? I assure you the losses that we may incur in a full scale war will be far less than if this problem continues for more than a decade which it will if we failed to take a decisive action.

While I totally agree with you that an unnecessary and full scale war risks several soldier lives, I also believe that 'proportionate' response to Paki transgressions and giving in to 'ceasefire' when Pakis ask for it, has been a disaster for decades that has actually cost countless lives of soldiers and civilians alike.

Pakis, by now, know exactly what response India will give to their transgressions and always hold the cards as when to de-escalate.....which they exercise once their objectives are met!

India needs to demonstrate to Pakis that Paki cost-benefit analysis will always lead to a negative territory. There should be no way left for Pakis to game the situation. This is what Israelis do.

I am really sorry to say but escalation is not going to happen, it will continue like this 1-1 2-2 but nothing beyond that. Government need solid reason to escalate and there no reason to escalate.

Agree with most of your statement but this part is bullshit. In a war you fight on your strength and attack enemy's weak areas. When faced with disproportionately strong enemy, its perfectly fine not to get entangled in a conventional face to face war. Kashmir is India's achiles heel, Islamic population here ..a large part of which places their brotherhood above nation are India's weak spots. It is absolutely correct from Pak side to use those/attack those.
We can not blame Pak for our gutlessness, our weak kneed attitude, our unwillingness to punish pak for its misadventures.

Pakis think that since they are playing a role in Afghan peace process that is why they got a free hand. But we should tell US that if we get back the pok our 150 km of border will touch Afghanistan. And it is the area where Afghan Taliban are strongest. But when our border will touch Afghanistan our airforce can regularly bomb these scums and end the problem once and for all. Mind you even US wants Bharat to play a bigger role in Afghanistan so we should convey that it is only possible if we get back POK.
