- He started off by saying Pakis were not involved and what would they have to gain. They are against terrorism.
- Offered cooperation for investigation and offered to talk about terrorism without bringing Kashmir in.
- Said that India is doing it for getting a boost in elections.
- Warned India that if we attack, Pakis are guaranteed to retaliate and though he didn't mention nukes, he strongly hinted at using them eventually.
