What are we doing in return ? These sniping cases have increased manifold. Almost daily basis they are sniping our soldiers

This is retaliation for what we have been doing to them for the last few weeks. Not the other way round.

They have lost many men when we pounder their forward posts to dust.. Posts which were actively engaged in infiltration were hit by us. We are paying them with CI.

The police officer said that both the slain soldiers were junior commissioned officers and identified them as Subedar Raman Thapa and Subedar Gamar Thapa. Both belonged to the army’s 2/8 GR unit.

And who told you that we are not engaging them with snipers? The only problem with sniping is that you can't confirm on a kill. Its the media or through intelligence from which such attacks does come out. Its very rare to have a physical confirmation of a kill.

Pakis claim they use Barret M82. It has maximum range of 4 kms with effective range of 1.9kms. Interestingly Wikipedia says this same sniper rifle is in use with Mumbai forece one commando

I have said this before.
In India snipers are used by Special forces of IA,IN,IAF , CRPF , Various state and central counter terror units and para military like bsf and ITBP.
IA soldier aren't equiped with sniper. In easy way , snipers in IA inventory is not for ordinary trooper.
