We can expect the UNGA meeting on the sideline, which is a regular feature of the program to be highlighted. But, its too early to celebrate on it.
Almost all parties be it the congress, the commies, AAP, and everyone else batting for the TALKS with pak. Sidhu tried to make a mark with a career in politics trying to play the role of a peace dove who is relevant in the peace equation with pak. That fool just got the taste of pak double talk . Good for Sidhu, he deserved it.
The primary reason why they want the Indian Govt to talk after such an incident is to dilute the NDA stance that they are standing strong against pak.
The stand NDA took did hurt pakis very bad, economically and diplomatically.
With the new administration in pakistan, pak is trying to dislodge the NDA's stance.
The opposition in India wants to make it a political game, as every incident along the LoC which hogs the media time. They just want to make BJP look weak in front of pakistan.
The beheading incident, is just another chance the opposition got.
The surgical strike and the media release on it has hurt them opposition much.
Its too early to celebrate on the UNGA talks. As there is nothing substantial to be gained from this talk other than the Media propaganda fanned by opposition.
If there is no agenda, there is no point in the talks.
The only hope pak is keeping for the talk is that this is the first time EVER the NEW pak foreign minister under the new pak administration is trying to "meet" the Indian Foreign minister.
So naturally, they are expecting an OBLIGATION along that line with the Indian side.
BUT
They pak is also trying to make it a media circus in India for the opposition of India to score some brownie points with the PHOTO OPS at UNGA Meet, now that the election heat is getting intense.
