How long we r going to sit in fence?

Atleast kill masood azhar:frusty:
.......
No need to kill masood azhar or Hafeez. They are an asset for us to defame Pakistan and also killing these terrorists will have little effect on their organization and operations. Killing Dawood Ibrahim will be the best thing for India. According to Farookh Takla there were several attempts to kill dawood in past few years but all of them failed. All these attempts were made by local gangsters of Karachi or Chota Rajan gang who were not trained to carry out such specialised operations. We need to send our SF to take out Dawood.

If you remember, there were reports 3 years back that a plan was put in place, operatives were in place and were all set to eliminate Dawood Ibrahim in 2013, but the plan was called off after a last minute phone call.

It is documented in "The Karachi Deception"

7 Times Dawood Ibrahim Just Managed To Slip Out Of India’s Hands
Everytime we were close to eliminating or catching Dawood Ibrahim plan was called off by the government. This tells about his political influence in India. A lot of Indian Politicians will be exposed if we somehow are able to get him back to India.

Hopefully it's due to better surveillance that more/all are stopped!
Historically, only a fraction get killed at the LoC while several managed to infiltrate!

Many terrorists & overground workers have been neutralised in recent years. It had created a shortage of leadership to existing Jihadis. So these attempts to bolster the movement.

This seems to be terrorists killed in India patrol attack in keran sector two days before.
If they were mere terrorists, and given the Napaki and jihadi tendencies, it seems a bit of a stretch that they would go through the trouble of dragging the bodies across the LoC.

No, I suspect these were ununiformed SSG that were halaaled in the retaliatory action and had to be brought back at any cost.

19 years later, Kargil martyr’s son fulfils vow, joins dad’s battalion

Keeping his promise
Hitesh with mom Kamesh Bala

Hitesh Kumar, 25, after passing out from the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun on Saturday, and being commissioned as lieutenant in the Indian Army, paid tribute to his deceased father Bachan Singh at the latter’s memorial at Civil Lines area of Muzaffarnagar city on Sunday.

Bachan was martyred during the Kargil War in 1999 and Hitesh, then, six, had sworn to follow his father’s footsteps and join the Army. Hitesh was just six years old when his father, a lance naik in the 2nd Battalion of Rajputana Rifles, was killed at Tololing in Kargil on the night of June 12, 1999.

“Bachan was a brave soldier. When our battalion was attacked at Tololing, he was shot in the head and died on the battlefield. I am glad Bachan’s son has received his commission. His father would have been proud of him,” said Rishipal Singh, who was in Bachan’s battalion.

Hitesh, then six years old, had sworn he would grow up and join the Army. “He was just a child then, but he swore he would be an Army officer when he grew up. He worked on it for the next 19 years. We would have never guessed that Hitesh would be commissioned in the same battalion as his father,” said Binesh Panwar, a cousin of Hitesh.

“It has been a difficult life since Bachan was martyred. I dedicated my life to raising my two sons. Today I am proud that Hitesh was commissioned into the Army. His younger brother, Hemant, is also preparing to join the Army. There is nothing more I could ask for,” said a tearful Kamesh Bala, Hitesh’s mother. “For 19 years, I dreamt of joining the Army. It became my mother’s dream too. Now I want to serve my country with pride and honesty,” said Hitesh.

SRINAGAR: Four Border Security Force (BSF) personnel lost their lives while three injured after Pakistan Rangers violated the ceasefire once again in Chambliyal sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district.

The ceasefire took place along the International Borders in Jammu and Kashmir. Reports of the incident are still emerging.

Last month, both India and Pakistan had mutually decided to respect ceasefire pact of 2003 and take sincere measures to improve the existing situation to ensure peace and avoidance of hardships to the civilians along the borders. A Ramazan ceasefire was also initiated on May 16 with the Centre directed security forces in Jammu and Kashmir to follow what it called "non-initiation of combat operations" during the holy month of Ramzan.

However, Pakistan blatantly violated the terms and continued to fire from across the border.

Earlier this month, two BSF personnel and 13 civilians lost their lives in an unprovoked and indiscriminate firing by Pakistani rangers in Akhnoor, Kanachak and Khour sectors of Jammu district.

Reacting to it, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that India will honour the Ramzan ceasefire but will retaliate to any unprovoked attack.

“It's our business to guard the border and we won't stop if we're provoked. We shall be alert and ensure that no unprovoked attack goes without response. It's our duty to keep India safe,” she said.
