They are talking about ceasefire agreement of 2003, hence the "ceasefire violation".

It worked out well for India so far, maybe in the coming years India will abrogate the agreement under some pretext or another.

One one hand Lorros on ground has limited ability with regards to ranging, where as the same thing on a satellite has better range and reach.

Northern Army Commander Lt Gen D Ambu visited North Kashmir on Saturday to review the security situation on the Line of Control .

A defense spokesman said that along with Lt Gen JS Sandhu, Commander of Chinar Corps, he visited the advance areas. The commanders made them aware about the campaign preparations.

The spokesman said that the military commander appreciated the steps of the army and standard operating procedures to deal with the challenges like infiltration and ceasefire violation .

Lieutenant General Ambu stressed the need to be more vigilant to defeat the nefarious intentions of the enemies. They assured full support from their side in strengthening the security system.

Shabir Shah admitted he had links with hawala operators in Pakistan who were laundering money to fund militancy in Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah, who had no regular source of income, was accepting donations in cash, but neither issued receipts nor filed tax returns for them.

The ED also discovered that the website IP address of Shah's Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party is registered in Peshawar.

It filed its chargesheet in a Delhi court this afternoon.

For such effect, you don't need LORROS integrated with navigation sat. We do have satellite which are capable enough to provide us intel of LOC or across it at any given moment.
But yeah, something like what you are mentioning about is achievable by HALE drones easily.

Remember, Elbit's LORROS is meant for surveillance and target acquisition which has a range of 13 km at night and a radius of 16 km by day depending on the terrain and weather. Applications include:

Border Surveillance
Coastal Observation & Surveillance
Site Security
Force Protection
Suspicious Activities (Drug, Terrorism) Reconnaissance
Artillery Spotting & Ranging

So yes, these are also used for artillery Spotting & Ranging and being issued to SATA (Surveillance and Target Acquisition) regiments of the IA.

In the video from a movie you have shown in your post above, the images have been taken not from a satellite but what you get from real-time tracking using drones like the Predators. If they show the images as those acquired from satellites, it is dramatized for effect as it is just a movie!

And needless to say artillery ranging can only be done from real-time imagery and not satellite photographs. So our CARTOSAT series have video capability that can be used for ranging but remember, the satellite has a max of just 3 minutes video over an area due to its orbit. You can get another 3 minute video after 90 minutes only, as that's the approx time taken for the satellite's to orbit the Earth.

So, the question is, can an OP spot and range a target within this restricted time of 2 to 3 minutes with live video feed from the satellite? Very difficult! But not impossible!

I hope this man gets charged for sedition and waging war against the country in addition to money laundering and tax evasion. The former would mean a life term behind bars. The same should be applicable to other Hurriyat turds too based on the evidence already acquired.
