Yes. Nehru committed many blunders. Pak had started mobilising Kashmiri muslims in Mirpur etc to revolt against Maharaja Hari Singh by July 47 itself but Nehru remained oblivious to the ground reality. Exodus of Sikhs and Hindus had also begun but he could not predict that pak could attempt an hostile takeover. Its only when Mirpur, Muzzafarabad etc were run over and Srinagar was under attack that Nehru finally authorised millitary action. And then that moron took Kashmir to UN in Jan 48. What a Pm we had.

Indian government moved anti-tank missiles to the front trenches along the Line of Control on Saturday despite claims of favouring regional peace and table talks with Pakistan over outstanding issues.
Reportedly, Indian forces have taken hold of anti-tank missiles at the front trenches after artillery was moved forward by Narendra Modi-led government.
India has been resorting to violation of ceasefire treaty signed with Pakistan in 2003 ever since the pact. In 2013-14, Indian forces opened unprovoked fire 536 times at the LoC, 382 times in 2016 and as many as 1881 times in 2017.

Pakistan denies role in Sunjwan attack, accuses India of running 'smear campaign'

Pakistan has denied any role in Sunjwan terror attack and accused India of running a "smear campaign against Islamabad.

Islamabad: Pakistan on Sunday denied its role in the audacious terror attack on an Army camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Sunjwan area, saying the Indian officials and its media were making "irresponsible" statements even before conducting a proper investigation into the incident.

Reacting to the issue, Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson accused India of running a "smear campaign against Islamabad and the deliberate creation of war hysteria."



"It is a well-established pattern that Indian officials begin making irresponsible statements and levelling unfounded allegations, even before a proper investigation into any incident has been initiated," the Foreign Office spokesperson said when asked about the attack on Sunjwan Army camp in Jammu.

"A particular segment in the Indian media runs with their innuendos to malign Pakistan and whips up public frenzy. We are confident that the world community would take due cognisance of India's smear campaign against Pakistan, and the deliberate creation of war hysteria," the spokesperson said.

Don't know if somebody posted this before but the death toll is upto nine now.

The death toll in an operation to flush out militants holed up in a residential area of the Sunjuwan military station in Jammu rose to nine, with bodies of two more soldiers and a civilian recovered in search and sanitisation ops on Sunday, the Indian army said.
