1 SSG killed is the sniper i guess but some sources say the sniper is Baloch.

Yes the place is far off almost two different sectors, But thats how a Tactical responce is given by a Paltan Hit where the enemy is not ready!! Their is nothing stopping the Commander to launch the attack froma different sector.

Three Pakistani soldiers were killed and another injured when the Army foiled an infiltration bid in Nowshera sector of the LoC in Rajouri district on Monday evening. PTI file

Five Pakistani soldiers have been killed over the past two days on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch districts, Defence Ministry sources said on Tuesday.

Three Pakistani soldiers were killed and another injured when the Army foiled an infiltration bid in Nowshera sector of the LoC in Rajouri district on Monday evening.

Noticing suspicious movement on the LoC, alert troops fired to foil the infiltration bid, the defence sources said. The retaliation by Army took place in Rakhchakri, in Pakistan’s Rawalkot sector.

Army sources said the action was taken after suspicious movement was spotted around 6 pm. Pakistan’s media quoting Inter-Service Public Relations confirmed the death of three Pakistan soldiers in the cross-border firing.

On Sunday, two Pakistani sniper shooters were killed in Indian firing on the LoC in Poonch and Rajouri districts.

“These sniper shooters were trying to target Indian soldiers on the LoC,” sources said.

Four Indian soldiers, including a Major, were killed in Pakistan firing on the LoC in Rajouri district on Saturday. IANS

Thanks for the video, as always. The battle layout is quite complex with attacks on multiple targets from multiple locations.

- First shot is definitely a Carl Gustaf.

- There seem to be ATGMs used as well - these are the ones with the red signature.

- Majority of the fire seems to be from AA guns but I am not sure as the posts are at very close range.

Check out shatrujeet's fb page. According to it, the raid was carried on by members of ghatak platoon of 2 Sikh and some members of elite SF units. 7 Confirmed Kills, 2 Injured and hospitalised. Happened in Rakhchakri area of rawalkot district, Pakistan. 1 SSG member also killed in indian retaliation at the LOC.

2 SSG's, a sniper and his spotter was killed...

You did read the earlier article regarding on what happened to local commanders who did take aggressive action during UPA tenure. Why are people so obsessed with bringing Modi into everything.
