Of late, there have been instances galore when stars have woken up to issues such as racist harassment, religious partiality or bigotry that are the common man's woes.

I ask Dale is it true that stars bring up sensitive issues to garner attention, case in example ShahRukh Khan being detained at an airport near to the release of his film, 'My name is Khan' or Emraan Hashmi complaining of religious racism at play when he wanted to buy a house in a swanky Hindu- majority area. However, he goes on to add, '' PRs highlight certain stories and manipulate public opinion, some create fiction stories and blow them out of proportion''. In a nutshell, regardless of the truth behind controversies, they are blown up and worked upon to make thrilling news material.

Controversies surrounding celebrities stretch from one spectrum of issues to another. Kissing and political issues are only part of the game. Wardrobe malfunctions and recent no- wardrobe show is also a very attention- grabbing piece of news that celebs indulge in from time to time.

some will wonder if salman khan apologizes for all this comments he has made.

i am not sure why but it appears that Arijit did do wrong and wore slippers and made a wrong comment. but that is relying on some news reports and recently reading news from news media in india it is hard to know what is true and fake.

salman khan does have good moments and has made some good movie. respect to him. but he is no angel and he would be first to admit that. further india movie industry is a bit like IPL and BCCI ... it is not really managed and controlled by the "professionals" ... but it sure does make a lot of money !!

Am I the only one here who wouldn't feel a thing if Bollywood vanishes all of a sudden? Given the kind of movies they churn out that are full of stolen songs, scripts, screenplay I'd say they are of no use to the nation. Not to forget the pappi jhappi they do with the Pigs.
