Yup exactly.

Scythians were R1a and 99% European ancestry but spoke Iranian language and a religion that was neither European nor Aryan.

Bengali with higher East Asian ancestry speak Aryan language but follow Semitic religion.

Europeans follow a Semitic religion but speak non Semitic language.

Genetics neither tell language nor the culture.
Their patrilineal lineages are dominated by the Indian-origin R1a-Z93 bloodline and they assimilated harmoniously into BHARTIYA society.Sakas are Iranics as well. The PURANAS tell us VarnAASHRmaa existed in Shakadwipa. (Sakas did not undergo the religious reforms of Zarathustra so their religion would be very close to ours)

Huns, Kushans & Scythians that came to India were devout Hindu Shaivites. They built temples of Shiva, minted coins, patronized Hindu art –– helping counter the wave of Buddhism that had been spreading. Pic is talking of a Kushan King

The Scythians under Rudraman I specially were devout patrons of Sanskrit art & Hinduism.

Also do note that the R1a-m458 is the eurfags branch of R1a1 and it is not found in BHARAT today.
The fuss created by some coomers about two different branches of R1a ydna one is BHARTIYA and one eurfags and there is no room for speculation. The Indian branch of R1a, R1a-Z93 is exclusive of BHARATIYA subcontinent upto Afghanistan. It originated in India and migrated through the Pamir route during the Bronze Age to Altai region and even to Sintashta (Ukraine).
Underhill had further examined this dna and found that the oldest haplotypes of the dna was present in BHARATA and it expanded from India (SINDHU Valley region) to Central Asia and then to eurfags as well as Mongolia. He was able to identify two branches within this lineage with the help of two markers. One branch identified by the marker m434 was distributed in West Asia and it also migrated into Arabia. The other branch was identified by the marker m458 and it was restricted to eurfags with a particularly high concentration in east of eurfags like Ukraine.

This is basically BHARTIYA - isation kind of MAHA GHARWAPSI ;) be it Greeks or Scythians and even Kushans naturally saw their own Gods in DHARMA, we were both polytheistic classical civilizations. BHAGWAAN KRISHAN & SHIVA were both identified as Herakles. Roman soldiers used to worship Mitra.

Kushana Empire as well which was founded by Mahārājādhirāja Kujula Kadphises a Shaivite SANATANI convert "initiate" from his ancestral Yueh-chih faith.

The Kushanas were part of a tribal confederation called the yueh-chih that originally lived in the western part of the Gansu Province of China. They were pushed west by the invasions of the Xiongnu (Huna) confederation.

Emperor Kuja Kadphises had "initiated"to Shaivism, a Mathura inscription from the Tōkrī Tīla mound (Maṭ village) clears up previous confusion (Based on him being called "Satyadharmasthita" or 'steadfast in the true DHARMA

The Mathura inscription applied the same epithet to Emperor Huvishka (Satyadharmasthita) but explicitly says the Kingdom was conferred upon its founder viz BHAGWAAN Shiva (Sarva is the epithet of Shiva). This makes it clear Kujula Kadphises had adopted Shaivism & the Kharoshti script.

This also makes sense, when we realize his son, Emperor Vima Kadphises was also a devoted Hindu VEDIC SANATANI Shaivite (and in his coins we clearly see a TRISHOOLin ithyphallic SHIVA with a tiger skin).

Emperor Vima Kadphises was also given the epithet māheśvara "worshipper of Shiva" on coinage. He also transformed the temple at Dilberjin to a sanctuary of Shiva & decorated the wall with Shiva, Parvati & Nandi. He bought craftsmen from Ujjain to Bactria to build a water conduit.

The strong Shaivite nature of almost every Kushan Emperor since the founding is no better stated than the fact the last Great Kushan King Vasudeva had only Lord Shiva on his coinage, no other diety ;)

Mandala 01 HYMN CXIV. Rudra.

1. To the strong Rudra bring we these our songs of praise, to him the Lord of Heroes with the braided hair,
That it be well with all our cattle and our men, that in this village all be healthy and well-fed.

2 Be gracious unto us, O Rudra, bring us joy: thee, Lord of Heroes, thee with reverence will we serve.
Whatever health and strength our father Manu won by sacrifice may we, under thy guidance, gain.

3 By worship of the Gods may we, O Bounteous One, O Rudra, gain thy grace, Ruler of valiant men.
Come to our families, bringing them bliss: may we, whose heroes are uninjured, bring thee sacred gifts,

4 Hither we call for aid the wise, the wanderer, impetuous Rudra, perfecter of sacrifice.
May he repel from us the anger of the Gods: verily we desire his favourable grace.

5 Him with the braided hair we call with reverence down, the wild-boar of the sky, the red, the dazzling shape.
May he, his hand filled full of sovran medicines, grant us protection, shelter, and a home secure.

6 To him the Maruts’ Father is this hymn addressed, to strengthen Rudra's might, a song more sweet than sweet.
Grant us, Immortal One, the food which mortals eat: be gracious unto me, my seed, my progeny.

7 O Rudra, harm not either great or small of us, harm not the growing boy, harm not the full-grown man.
Slay not a sire among us, slay no mother here, and to our own dear bodies, Rudra, do not harm.

8 Harm us not, Rudra, in our seed and progeny, harm us not in the living, nor in cows or steeds,
Slay not our heroes in the fury of thy wrath. Bringing oblations evermore we call to thee.

9 Even as a herdsman I have brought thee hymns of praise: O Father of the Maruts, give us happiness,
Blessed is thy most favouring benevolence, so, verily, do we desire thy saving help.

10 Far be thy dart that killeth men or cattle: thy bliss be with us, O thou Lord of Heroes.
Be gracious unto us, O God, and bless us, and then vouchsafe us doubly-strong protection.

11 We, seeking help, have spoken and adored him: may Rudra, girt by Maruts, hear our calling.
This prayer of ours may Varuṇa grant, and Mitra, and Aditi and Sindhu, Earth and Heaven.

Also note that same diety has 3 horns similar to that of in Pashupati seal
I am currently trying to match pashupati seal with Rig Vedic verses. Initially I linked it to Rudra but then I came across the Suktam, it became crystal clear to me that it has to be Rudra. Braided hair Shivling cattle etc

Then I tried linking Pahupati seal with Rubhus and Pusan but failed to see any link in hymn and the actual seal.
