Why waste your resources in Pakistan.. Unless there is a miracle like oil discovery or something like that they are dead as dodo
Think about china.. If and this a big if we are able to destabilize china it will have cascading effect and that will be major turnaround.
For starters tibet is a place where seeds of unrest can be sowed. Tibetians are highly discontented with Chinese and we can use this to our advantage

Then my answer is YES..
ARE we doing it now ? NO..
will be do it in the future? YES, As and when economic and strategic interests Coincide.
Are economic and strategic interests coinciding now? NO..
When will economic and strategic interests coincide? Only when our lala companies are fully invested in india story
Why has it not happened yet? Because we are still a young economy, our count should start from year 2002 not 1991 or 1947..

My guess would be its the ROI calculation that will determine what to do.
If the ROI is good and collateral damage for us is low, then it will happen.

Under the current circumstances, pakis have already built enough infra to exploit that we are spoilt for choice.
