bhai 4 front war its difficult to survive ,

1. We don't have sufficient indigenous weapons
2.4 front war means ,u can't get ammo or weapons from your Allie s
3. 4 front war is not possible it may lead to ww3
4. only mass destruction... if u will use nuke then others will too
5. no nation can survive a 4 front war even America can't ...
6.hmm if the nations are Nepal ,Bhutan ,srilanka,Mauritius........ then India can ..

There won't be a 4-front war, but a 2-front war, with "offensive neutrality" from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. As per this scenario, Pakistan and China will be engaged in active hostilities against India, while Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will not allow India to enter their airspace or territorial waters; to deprive India of a pretext to punish them, they will refuse logistical support to Pakistan/China, too.

Technically they are neutral, but their neutrality benefits Pakistan and China. Indian air units have to fly close to Chinese airspace over the "Chicken's neck" grazing Nepal, while Indian fleet movements from coast to coast will become slightly slower as they have to traverse a longer route outside Sri Lanka's territorial waters.

India really needs to pump a lot of money, brains, and muscle into R&AW, and swing the political leaderships of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh closer to India, despite Chinese investments.

The Government also needs to haul ass with the Setu Samudram project while it still can, so that a suspension bridge is built between India and Sri Lanka, which is high enough that the natural land formations across the Palk Straits can be dredged out, creating a shipping lane, which will vastly improve Indian coast-to-coast fleet movements.

India must also make a land-swap with Bangladesh, to widen the Chicken Neck.

This piece of Bangladeshi land must be exchanged for non-strategic (yet fertile) land elsewhere, with a few billion dollars thrown in as sweeteners.

China & Pak are obvious but why would BD and Sri Lanka become India's enemies. ??? They would either be neutral or favour India i guess

Why would SL & BD wage a war against India? They have nothing to gain and everything to lose. And yes no country can survive a 4 front war, not even China hence the Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai bullshit came along post Doklam and the chronic case of verbal diarrhoea against India's relationships with Japan and US.

Pretty absurd thing to poll in my opinion.

i think we can survive if we have strong leadership doubt we can hit them Back all at once we have go after them after the war one country at a time
1)our navy is powerful the only country which can threaten us is China which will not use its full navy force since it is far away when it comes to sea
2)comapre the number of fighter jets right now we have right now serious challenger only Pakistan since china can't hit India deep in its territory according to some defence experts
3)Bangladesh has never fought a major War since its independence has only 8 mig 29 and 37 chendu's f-7 acc to Wikipedia there ground forces have chinese tanks
4)the only way Sri Lanka can attack us is by Sea have 6 fighter jets

Bangladesh and SL cannot do a thing , so forget about them , they are not a threat....
In case of two front war with china and Pakistan , our best option would be to crush porkistan as soon as possible which will make war only with China and then we can fully concentrate on China ,but we seriously need to overhaul our millatry industrial complex....

I voted no but my reasoning is such a scenario would escalate to nukes and all four countries will be destroyed. That war is not winnable by anybody.
I beg to differ. Bongs and Lankans will get obliterated from the face of the earth by India and the chinese and pakis will retreat after seeing the MAD threat.

It will happen because these 4-5 countries are most undisciplined, over populated and load on earth. And they will never develop.

Neither Nepal nor Sri Lanka have the capability to enforce that kind of air and sea movement restrictions. They will stay out of it.

In a naval conflict with Pakistan + China where we have to defend two long coasts, plus the islands, the fleet will be stretched too thin to overwhelm any area-denial by Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh may not be able to enforce its airspace denial to Indian warplanes, but will threaten ground hostility in response to airspace violations. Commanders sitting in Delhi will see it as a high enough cost (opening of a new front), and respect Bangladesh's airspace, with a few minor infractions along the airspace borders.

In short, India must tame Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the short term with carrots and sticks.

From wiki:The Sri Lanka Navy has four patrol boats, two missile boats, 12 patrol boats, more than 35 fast attack craft, six landing ships/craft and a large number of littoral craft, along with six auxiliary vessels.

Come on. Do we need to open a new front to really take care of this? Will they be stopping our naval warships with this fleet? It's funny to think we will be going the long way around to avoid a couple of patrol boats they might throw at us. Give me a break.

And commanders in Bangladesh don't have this cost benefit analysis capability? Do they want dhaka to get bombed? Because that's how they will get dhaka bombed. Surely we can spare a sortie or two for them. This dhoti shivering for a couple of non entities...jesus.
