Neither can you integrate S-400 with NASAMS, SPIDER, BARAK, etc... I would even argue that American THAAD and Patriots ADs are easier to integrate to the newer AD systems from Israel and the US that it already have.

We don't have NASAM yet. Nasam even if it comes in would be an standalone system to protect from hacking etc as a last mile of defense to pmo and parliament. But no one is sure if it's coming.

Barak is an JV. We already have our own seeker and control unit. Moreover there is our own Akash plus older Russian ADs which can be integrated easily.

IFF(Identify Friend or Foe) systems are desi on our jets. Otherwise also, they can harmonise frequency at which AF will be running it's IFF transponders at.

First turkey choose chinese system, then started developing new sam with eu help, after coup they brought s400.

3.S400 is not good against helis
4.All systems brought from abroad uses indian iff and comms or ones designed wrt indian requirements.
Accidental fire can happen like patriot vs uk jets or spyder vs mi17, but its rare.

You don't have to worry about whether they train with PLAAF in Countering S-400. It won't help them much.

Look at what happen to that NATO ally... plus if worse come to worse that S-400 with Turkey is another weak link in S-400 since US can always arrange with Turkey to brief them on S-400 weaknesses.

Any system has it shortcomings. Don't tell me Patriot is fool proof system.
S-400 has to be deployed as part of multi layered system. What it seems Indian have not purchased Russian short and medium range system to deploy it with S 400.
Can this be an issue as existing system cannot be integrated with S 400. Moreover a point defence CIWS is crucial to protect from small drones.
No idea if this was taken care of.
