Let me explain what has happened if you didn't pick it up already. What we know, A) the Russian state has stopped funding of this project since last year and B) the Russian Army will not buy T-95 as long as Popovkin is running the show. From this article there are two nouns that need to be observed... Rosboronexport and Military Technical Cooperation. That means this private showing was for foreign investors to try to get this back up for export. Most likely countries that watched it were India and SKA representatives as we know that is who they have been pitching it to for years. It is a last ditch effort to revive it and the actions of Popovkin have more than just damaged the project, but literally killed it. On July 10, 2008 the Russian government announced that the Russian armed forces would start receiving new-generation tanks superior to the T-90 main battle tank after 2010. "The T-90 MBT will be the backbone of the armored units until 2025.
