General information on the application of measures for the reconciliation of opposing sides

Within last 24 hours, preliminary truce agreement with representatives of an inhabited area in the Homs and Hama provinces has been achieved.

The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has remained 99.

In the Homs province, ceasefire agreement has been achieved with field commander of an armed formation.

The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has reached 54.

Results of ceasefire monitoring

The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 9 ceasefire violations have been registered (Aleppo province – 5, Latakia province – 3, Damascus province – 1).

In Aleppo, Sultan Murad Brigade, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, opened fire for 3 times with multiple launch rocket systems against Sheikh Maqsood from Sakyan al-Shababi. 8 civilians were killed. Jaysh al-Islam carried out 2 mortar shellings against al-Zagra sector.

Militants of Ahrar al-Islam performed 3 mortar shellings against units of the Syrian army near Barisha (Latakia province).

Militants of Jaysh al-Islam fired with mortars and small arms against positions of the government troops near Harasta al-Basal.

Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.

Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria

Inhabited areas of the Homs province have received 500 kilograms of bread, which had been produced at the Russian field bakery.

Humanitarian convoys to inhabited localities of the Hama and Latakia provinces are being formed.

Delivering of food products by the UN to Deir ez-Zor, which had been besieged by ISIS terrorists, is continued. This May, 11 droppings of humanitarian cargos have been performed with usage of Russian aircraft and parachute platforms.

Groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization continue warfare aimed at breaking the “Silence regime” down. Within last 24 hours, in the Aleppo province, firing with multiple launch rocket systems has been opened for three times against Sheikh Maqsood from Ashrafiyah, which had been controlled by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists. 6 citizens, including a child, have been wounded.

Within last 24 hours, Handrat has suffered 5 artillery and mortar shellings carried out from Muheim Handrat and Hraitan.

According to information received by the Centre from civilians, more than 100 terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra have arrived in Kafr Hamra from the territory of Turkey.

Moreover, several trucks with improvised munitions fitted with chemical warfare agents based on chlorine have arrived in northern territories of Aleppo, which had been controlled by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, from the Idlib province.

Within last 24 hours, truce agreement with representatives of an inhabited area in the Homs province has been achieved.

The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 100.

In the Damascus province, ceasefire agreements have been achieved with field commanders of 4 armed formations.

The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has reached 58.

Results of ceasefire monitoring

The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 7 ceasefire violations have been registered (Aleppo province – 2, Damascus province – 5).

In Aleppo, units of Jaysh al-Islam, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, carried out 2 shellings with mortars and multiple launch rocket systems against al-Zagra sector from Balirmun and Makanis al-Duvairi.

In the Damascus province, militants of Jaysh al-Islam opened fire with mortars and small arms against positions of the government troops near Meida, Jaubar, Arbil, and Zibdin as well as near Harasta al-Basal region of Damascus.

Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.

Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria

Inhabited areas of the Homs province have received 300 kilograms of bread, which had been produced at the Russian field bakery.

Humanitarian convoys to inhabited localities of the Homs and Latakia provinces are being formed.

Representatives of the Centre for reconciliation have held a working session with administration of the Homs province. The sides discussed providing humanitarian aid to citizens of inhabited areas, which had suffered destructions during the warfare.

Groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization continue performing provocative actions aimed at breaking the “Silence regime” down.

Within last 24 hours in the Aleppo province, unselective fire has been opened for 4 times with improvised multiple launch rocket systems against Sheikh Maqsood from Ashrafiyah and Bustan al-Basha. Al-Nairab airport has been shelled with mortar for two times.

In the north-west of Aleppo, artillery and mortar fire has been opened from Jandul against Handrat and Hailan. There are killed and wounded military servicemen and civilians.

According to citizens of the Aleppo province, Jabhat al-Nusra detachment (more than 100 men) has arrived in Khan Tuman.

Formations of ISIS terrorist organization are taking efforts to return control over positions, which they had lost during offensive of the government troops. Having performed mortar shelling, ISIS terrorists attacked positions of the Syrian army to the north from al-Barda (Homs province). Terrorists have retreated to the positions, which they had kept before, after suffering losses and achieving no success.

Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria

Citizens of Sharakliyah and Fulia (Homs) have received 3.2 tons of humanitarian aid.

Representatives of the Centre for reconciliation have delivered 2 tons of humanitarian aid to children of internally displaced persons studying in al-Yarmuk school (Latakia).

Medical workers of the Centre for reconciliation have provided medical assistance to 58 citizens.

Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Aleppo have delivered 2.5 tons of humanitarian aid to representatives of “Community of Syrian citizens from Russia”.

Russian aircraft have delivered 42 tons of UN food products with usage of parachute platforms to Deir ez-Zor, which have been besieged by ISIS terrorists.

Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists took efforts to launch offensive against units of the Syrian army near Handrat after performing mortar shelling. All attacks of terrorists have been repelled.

Medical workers of the Centre for reconciliation have provided medical assistance to 48 citizens including 17 children.

Leadership of the Russian Centre for reconciliation have held working session with governor of the Latakia province on issues of providing humanitarian aid to citizens of most damaged inhabited localities.

In the al-Quneitra province, ceasefire agreement has been achieved with a field commander of one armed formation.

The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has reached 59.

Results of ceasefire monitoring

The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 5 ceasefire violations have been registered (Damascus province – 4, Aleppo province – 1).

In the Damascus province, formations of Jaysh al-Islam, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar shelling against positions of the government troops near Hutaita al-Jarash and al-Sahiya. Food products and corns were the basis of the cargos.

Akraba (Aleppo province) has received 1 ton of humanitarian aid. Medical assistance has been provided to 32 citizens, including 14 children.

Within last 24 hours, shelling with multiple launch rocket systems and mortars have been performed against Ashrafiya, Sheikh Maqsood and Salah al-Din city sectors of Aleppo.
