I didn't made any conclusion i just given a comparison .. USA Launched 59 and 23 reached the Target base and Few made the damage ..Now what happened to rest offcourse the obsolete syrian Air defence has surely intercepted few of them ..Now i read an article which was even Questioning the use of Tomahawks for this mission as the result is pathetic runway is intact . Hangars too not much damaged and most important the Air defence of the base was not taken out . So Flights resumed from the base again today for bombing ..

Now coming to our scenario with pakistan has some kind of air defence but not ones which can stop Brahmos .. But what s important here is they will get something from the chinese sooner or later which will give them an Air defence to counter our Brahmos attacks ..pakistan they have their Missiles in TELs now that needs lot of numbers from our side to attack them .. So 1000 is a reasonable number if its a long war anything above 10 days if it drags ...

I understand attacking mobile units would be much more difficult and would take much more resources but if India had to attack forward fixed bases in pakiland I would hope that it would take much less Brahmos because of its increased speed, better anti air defence and because kinetic damage would create more destruction meaning less would be needed?

the warhead is smaller than a tomahawk though?
