I now believe the US and the rest of Europe is not in this for the long run like Russia is. Otherwise they wouldn't be supporting this suicide mission. Instead they would encourage and convince Ukraine to be patient and just build strong defenses, and let them know they will be sending weapons for as long as it takes to wear down Russia.

It is clear that they do not go straight to the front. But they were not on conservation in reserve. They were in storage like superfluous equipment. You can see it in their condition. When the tank is in reserve, then any small hatch is sealed. These machines look like they've been kicked out of their ass. Very bad condition. They look even worse than the ancient T-55s.
