Uhm, are you sure about those numbers? Dont you know that US alone has over 1,3 million?

Btw, you are probably wrong about ammo as well. Dont know how it works in all NATO states, but in eastern Europe, production already went up. One of larger Slovak ammo manufacturers, ZVS Holding, usually produced 25k arty shells per year, it was not the most important line of business for them. This year, they hired more workers and are aiming for 75k - that's about as much as they can do without building of new assembly lines. Next year, they might switch to three shifts operation. And in neighbouring states it's the same.
1.3 million are not regular army it includes paramilitary force and police. European statistics are even worse.

Ammo situation is even more worse. Total 60k shells were fired during gulf war and now 60k shells being fired by Ukraine in just 10 days. There is no active production of shells.

You need to recheck your production capacity, it can’t be 25k. It might be 5-6k a year.

Source? None of the somewhat reputable RuSSian sources - such as Rybar - reports it.
If you want evidence, then look what the Ukrainians are saying.."
Kremlin’s Latest Mass Missile Attack Underwhelms

Russia on Monday launched upwards of 100 cruise missiles in a mass attack intended to demolish Ukraine’s power grid, but damage appeared less extensive than the last time the Kremlin tried, officials said."

Now the first thing that comes to my mind is why did this attack underwhelm? There has to be a reason, Ukraine didn't just suddenly become great at shooting down Russian missiles. Underwhelmed? Compared to what, the last incredible successful strikes against the grid? I'm glad Ukraine admitted it. Also, why was it assumed the energy grid was the main target? IMO what will be known is the energy grid was not the main target, it was military equipment.

Russia was planning on firing 150 but ended up launching combined 70 missile strikes because Ukraine attacked two airbases deep inside russian territory just few hours before.

Man are you dumb.
Keep asking questions that sane members have already discussed.
No wonder you are always wondering and blundering in your posts...try reading what other people are actually posting.

Why not? Those are publicly available figures here. ZVS Holding was selling 25k before the war (mostly to Poland), now it multiplied production.

They are also greatly expanding production lines. In summer, they announced major investments into their factory in Snina. Before the Ukrainian war, it alone produced 20k shells per year. Now they are expanding it to 100k per year. Would be stupid not to do it when the demand is so high.

Russia should hit back at US & NATO elint gathering platforms that gave real time intel to Ukrainian forces which used those intel to guide the UAVs. As far as I am concerned they just became legal combat targets the minute they provided such intel and support.
Russia won't.. You know that

You don't know about the massive fire in Kramatorsk yesterday that burned for half a day ? Looks like a lot of western supplied ammo went up in smoke.. Whether, it was the new Russian satellites that provided the intel, is something that won't be proven..

What yesterday's Ukranian strikes on Engels and Ryzan airfield have done is that, they forced Russia to launch airstrikes on Ukranian power Infra prematurely. This resulted in a less massive volley than the strikes before that.. And better missile interception by Ukranian AD.. This has in turn resulted in lesser damage to Power Infrastructure.
All in all, a very good performance by Ukraine.. Makes Russia even worry about a symbolic hit to Moscow..

Russian air defense failures go way deeper than just the air defense themselves.

What you're seeing is real time parallel of what our military behaved and functioned like in 1962. Just like that war was the failure of more than 10 years in the making, this too is like that.

We were able to recover, Russians probably won't.
