Losing your flagship to a country with no navy and airfields to a country whose airforce has been claimed to be destroyed multiple times already.

I'll not discuss other aspects which has lead to this, another day another thread.
WHich shows that NATO is very much involved in this war and Russia is effectively fighting Ukraine with one hand tied behind its back while NATO is getting a free reign to attack Russia through Ukraine so your vain attempts to show Russians losing will not work.

How you came across 50 billion value? Care to elaborate on that.
American media itself, if you include the cost of abahdoned ANA equipment. Its close to 10 billion in direct US equipment.
Transportation cost money, one has to pay for fuel, maintenance, airspace, etc. and unlike Russians everyone else pays for fuel in hard-cash (biggest cost).
It all comes to cost benefit analysis.
If it cost more than the benefit then just dump the items. It will not cause problems to US.
Bullshit.it does not cost more to transport the equipment out - the globemaster's operating cost to retrieve the 7 billion in direct american equipment is in the range of 100-200 million dollars.
THey dumped the items, because they lost and were in a hurry to get out, else suffer even more casualties.
THat is why anyone dumps equipment in the battlefield in the first place.
As i said- and its easily provable- forget sophisticated weapons, a plane load of just simple M-16 costs less to transport than the sticker price of the M-16.

PLA war against India is more likely than a PLA war against Taiwan, because the probability of direct American intervention is very high in a Taiwan war, and given logistical difficulties of invading and sustaining a huge force across 150 km of sea..
taiwan is a much bigger priority for PLA and the ping pong eleven. Its a legacy project and has far greater cultural and strategic value than any military action china can undertake for the next 50 years. So if given a choice, PLA will bleed far more for Taiwan- provided they think they can win- than for himalayas.
Taking barren strips of land from India to try and force india to a border settlement is not a legacy project, nor does it offer the clear-cut permanent strategic advantages of breaking through the first island chain.

The only way PLA conceives of a major war with India is if they are certain they cannot win in taiwan AND they face serious pressure on the internal front.

Do you recognise this pic? Russia is destroying cities...idk what is wrong with you.

Kiev has air defence.

And don't call me gandu, gandu naresh
I don't remember if you commented on Amnesty international's report. Any opinion? Do you agree with it or not? Do you think they are just make stuff up?
Ukraine: Ukrainian fighting tactics endanger civilians
Ukrainian forces have put civilians in harm’s way by establishing bases and operating weapons systems in populated residential areas, including in schools and hospitals, as they repelled the Russian invasion that began in February, Amnesty International said today.

Such tactics violate international humanitarian law and endanger civilians, as they turn civilian objects into military targets. The ensuing Russian strikes in populated areas have killed civilians and destroyed civilian infrastructure.

“We have documented a pattern of Ukrainian forces putting civilians at risk and violating the laws of war when they operate in populated areas,” said Agnès Callamard, Amnesty International’s Secretary General.

“Being in a defensive position does not exempt the Ukrainian military from respecting international humanitarian law.”

Not every Russian attack documented by Amnesty International followed this pattern, however. In certain other locations in which Amnesty International concluded that Russia had committed war crimes, including in some areas of the city of Kharkiv, the organization did not find evidence of Ukrainian forces located in the civilian areas unlawfully targeted by the Russian military.

Between April and July, Amnesty International researchers spent several weeks investigating Russian strikes in the Kharkiv, Donbas and Mykolaiv regions. The organization inspected strike sites; interviewed survivors, witnesses and relatives of victims of attacks; and carried out remote-sensing and weapons analysis.

Throughout these investigations, researchers found evidence of Ukrainian forces launching strikes from within populated residential areas as well as basing themselves in civilian buildings in 19 towns and villages in the regions. The organization’s Crisis Evidence Lab has analyzed satellite imagery to further corroborate some of these incidents.

Most residential areas where soldiers located themselves were kilometres away from front lines. Viable alternatives were available that would not endanger civilians – such as military bases or densely wooded areas nearby, or other structures further away from residential areas. In the cases it documented, Amnesty International is not aware that the Ukrainian military who located themselves in civilian structures in residential areas asked or assisted civilians to evacuate nearby buildings – a failure to take all feasible precautions to protect civilians.

Sure, Truth is in war either party is guilty of war crimes and putting civilians at risk.
I have watched Ukrainian soldiers in schools and hospitals + red cross vans and townhalls doing all sorts of things.

I have no delusions about war crimes and morality championships.

Quite possibly multiple drones rigged with cluster munitions targeted the Saki airbase in Crimea.

Half of Russian jets in Saki airbase seem to be decoys.

The entire effin Ruski AF is a decoy and completely missing from this special operation. I would imagine losing planes/pilots in a fight is far more honorable than getting slaughtered in shelters/bunks. Those Su 30/27/XYZ could have absolutely brutalized Ukr supply lines in the rear and infra (bridges, depos, rail networks, airports, power/utility stations etc.) if used as intended. But no, master-stroke demands throwing away lives and equipment making Zelenskiy look like a cross between Patton and Montgomery!
