You are most welcome to US. I believe it to be nation of immigrants who are thankful and proud to be here. I bet you don't want immigrants in India that don't value that privilege.
People disagree with government policies and show their grievances all the fucking time, (that's the very fucking bedrock of democracy you Americans always keep lecturing everyone about) but that does not mean they are not thankful. You're walking down a dangerous path, mate.

Guerrillas blow up a Russian armoured train in captured Melitopol - media

View attachment 156578

In captured Melitopol, the Ukrainian resistance movement has managed to blow up a Russian armoured train as it was transporting soldiers and equipment.

Source: local media; Mirror of the Week, quoting the Defence Headquarters of the Zaporizhzhia region

Details: Eyewitnesses in Melitopol reported hearing explosions and gunfire in the area of the meat-packing plant. Local journalists later confirmed that Ukrainian guerrillas had remotely detonated an armoured train near the meat-packing plant in Melitopol.

The train consisted of 10 cars. The explosion was carried out under a car carrying personnel from Russian occupying units, who were rotating.

The explosion damaged two railway tracks. The armoured train has now been stopped, and the fuel and lubricant cars following the armoured train have also been blocked.

Background :

  • On the morning of 18 May, the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration confirmed that guerrillas in Melitopol had killed high-ranking Russian commanders.
  • The Ukrainian resistance movement is also putting up pro-Ukrainian leaflets in public places in Melitopol.
  • In April the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported that guerrillas in Melitopol had killed about 70 servicemen in three weeks.

So took out the railway tracks and the news read blew up armoured train?

This is called propaganda.
Captive Russian troops claim commanders kill their own wounded soldiers

Captured Russian soldiers have accused their commanders of killing their own wounded troops rather than recovering them from the battlefield and sending them for treatment.

In a harrowing account to Ukrainian journalist Volodymyr Zolkin, the young intelligence soldiers described how one lieutenant colonel asked a wounded comrade if he could walk, the Mirror reported.

When the badly injured soldier replied that he could not, the high-ranking officer reportedly shot him – as well as several others — dead.

Another soldier told Zolkin, who has reported about Russian prisoners for Open Media Ukraine, that officers have “finished off their wounded.”

When the journalist asked him to elaborate, the soldier answered: “Just like that … a wounded soldier is lying on the ground, and a battalion commander shoots him dead from a gun,” according to the outlet.

“It was a young man, he was wounded,” he added. “He was on the ground. He was asked if he could walk, so he was shot dead with a gun.”

Another captive said the lieutenant colonel “shot four or five like this.”

A third told Zolkin that their wounded comrades “could have been rescued, given help, taken out of there. He simply shot them dead.”

It was unclear from the video where the alleged atrocity took place, where the soldiers being interviewed had been captured and what unit they belonged to.

Dmitry Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman, reportedly told Ostorozhno Media that the Kremlin has “no information” about the dead and wounded troops in Ukraine.

He was also asked about reports on social media by loved ones who can’t get the bodies of the dead soldiers in Ukraine.

“The captives are in trouble too … What will we do with our dead and will we exchange captives?” the Kremlin mouthpiece was asked.

“We do not have this information. It is with the Ministry of Defense,” Peskov replied, the news outlet said.

The allegations about Russian commanders killing their own soldiers follows a report that some demoralized troops have taken their own lives on the front line to avoid the conflict.

Andrey Ushakov, 20, claimed he knew two soldiers had committed suicide because they could no longer cope with the bungled invasion, which Russia launched on Feb. 24.

“Everyone was panicking and wanted to leave, but there was no way,” he told Zolkin recently. “The only option to go was as ‘300’ [wounded]. Some people couldn’t bear it, and shot themselves dead.”

“Cargo 300” is the Russian military’s designation for soldiers who are evacuated from a war zone after shooting themselves to cause severe injuries.

Several Russian soldiers have been shown on video sobbing as they apologized for killing Ukrainian civilians, including children — and admitted that the invasion was a “terrible mistake.”

Footage of captured Russian soldiers has raised questions about whether Ukraine has violated the Geneva Conventions, which provide POWs with protections.

According to Article 13: “Prisoners of war must at all times be protected, particularly against acts of violence or intimidation and against insults and public curiosity. Measures of reprisal against prisoners of war are prohibited.”

Meanwhile, Russian troops have allegedly dumped thousands of their war dead in heaps “as tall as a man” in a desperate bid to hide the true extent of their losses, according to an intercepted call released by Ukrainian authorities.

The Security Services of Ukraine said last week that the call caught an invading soldier telling his wife about “makeshift dumpsites” with “so many corpses that the mountains of them reach” more than 6 feet high.

Widespread reports have suggested crushing low morale among Russian troops amid the flailing campaign.

When propaganda makers know that their audience are stupid enough to eat anything thrown at them, there starts a race to out do one another in finding the most outlandish story.

Here is one example.

The Mariupol vacated by the Ukrainians. Cannot give Russians a huge credit but some credit is due. Let us see how the Russians fair in Donbas and Odessa. Two to three weeks job has become a year long job. It is not that the Ukrainians were better defenders but Russians were the stupidest invaders.

What he is saying is not wrong .. You left india because india lacked opportunity . And USA gave you that opportunity for a better life ... If a immigrant from Africa comes to india and starts giving pro pakistan statements , starts abusing india then i dont think that ll be cool for us as well .. So abusing USA supporting Russia and at the same time earning your living in USA not cool ... Keep views moderate since u are living there .

Shouldn't arguing for a peaceful growth without wasting people's money after a near-dictatorship like Ukraine be considered as more pro-USA when the actions of senile president and his moron cabinet have brought hyper-inflation to the people's dining table that threatens another recession in the horizon?

I guess not. After all, whether half the world including people in the US soil is threatened to fall into deep poverty doesn't matter so long US made bombs are used in a conflict that might hurt one of its stated enemy. It doesn't matter that enemy actually didn't make the first move in the game, but USA's leadership forced it - goaded and provoked and thus made the first move.

So I would say, if an immigrant has more clear view regarding your collective asses getting manipulated into becoming sacrificial lamb in the alter of some global game of power and profit by the MIC and CIA cabal, you are lucky to have such immigrant.

Anyhow, it will be interesting to see if an immigrant is ejected just because he holds a view contrary to the establishment regarding a war where USA is not actively involved. How will you spin it?

Completely agree. There have even been protests by women, by their husbands and sons, against forced recruitment
