I think what's even more relevant is upgrading old T-72s into BMPT-Terminators. Why don't you scroll down the page and see for yourself all the modern/upgraded weapons the Russians are producing. BTW Russia also announced they are doubling their defense budget and are mobilizing another 400k soldiers. However Ukraine will soon be getting 31 older Abrams tanks. I'm sure Russia is terrified about that. I bet they might just take Zelensky up on his offer to leave all of Ukraine, including Crimea instead of having to face off against 31 tanks.

Nope, they WILL not last long in combat, (unless the Ukrainians deliberately damage them) In fact the MS channel reported no Ukrainian wants to be in a leopard and challenger tanks because they are priority one targets for the Russians. Not because so much for the threat the pose, but because of the news/propaganda these coffins have. The Abrams will be the most prized targets and only suicidial maniacs would want to be in one of those. Dima also talks about this at the 18 minute mark, that they are deliberately damaging these tanks to avoid using them. Maybe that's why it took so long to finally see the challenger tanks, they had to first repair the damage the Ukrainians did to them when the first arrived.
