More kingdom fell because men were forced into battles as cannon fodders by people sitting in high towers. Perhaps he needs to visit the history book and read about fall of Tsar and rise of the global menace communism.
It takes a special mindset and will power to fight at the front. Those who were able and willing and most fortitude, had already joined armed forces and are either at the front now or has become a number. The so called military age men left to be called up will be unwilling conscripts with low morale and even less ability to fight. Hard time does transform some people into their harder self, but most crumple under stress. Now, you take a random dude, put him in a uniform, show him the right end of the rifle and expect him to fight against the massive brutal assault by a superior force where he knows his chance of survival is lesser than him getting to become a millionaire, how do you think he will fare?
What you people fail to see is that the whole process of grind has beenmuch more beneficial to Russia. Once Russia decided not to push in Kiev - a very wise decision in the hindsight - the option left to Russia is to destroy Ukraine's military capabilities forever. The idiot Zelensky under guidance of his masters in Washington is doing just that. He is forcing able bodied men into frontlines where they get decimated. A gun can be replaced in a year, but a man doesn't get replaced so easily. Now Zelensky is consripting 16 years old kids, which means the Ukraine wouldn't have a unscarred generation or a stable society for decades to come. If the kids are pushed into the fronlines, it will create havoc on their psyche and even if they survive, the damage done to their mind not only will screw them forvever but also the society they will live in.
Ukraine has lost the war. But it is adament about killing itself so thoroughly that nothing worthwhile should survive.
