True but such a high price tag (along with an overly complex supply chain just like most other western systems) would mean that the suppliers themselves can not produce enough of those within an acceptable timeframe nor can they ramp up their production rate as quickly as let's say would be possible with systems like the Uragan or the Tornado.

So looks like Poland after donating 230+ T-72s to Ukraine, will now donate a further 230+ PT-91 tanks ( T-72 upgrades ) to Ukraine..In return Poland will get used Abrams from US..
So, probably in 2 months, after these PT-91 are dealt with by the Russians, Poland will transfer these M1 Abrams to Ukraine, with ex Warsaw pact members having exhausted all Soviet origin weaponry..

Not sure where it comes from, Russia's prospects rise and fall with oil and gas prices. They have negligible service industry, we don't use any russian industrial goods or value added products. Their industry is dead with low-level soviet tech with no investment in diversification.

India just needs to replace energy import and invest into infra and we'll launch into middle-income strata.

US is on just another level when it comes to IP and future technologies. Russia is absolutely nowhere save a few startegic weapon systems whose development is a economic burden. They have what new avenues for revenue tell me?

Russia still holds the edge over Nayto over missile tech and several key sectors like submarine propulsion systems, etc. their industry in all military sectors is literally the best or second best after the yankees.

3. There is no such thing as replacing energy imports for the next 50-60 years while growing the economy. Anyone who thinks otherwise, is a pucca moron who's never worked in the energy sector.

4. future tech is mostly a load of crap and money-making scam for wall street types. Nothing more.

5. the world's largest resource holder and net resource exporter is literally as bulletproof as it gets for earning revenue. Russia isn't just the world leader in oil & gas. Its also the world leader or within top 3 for rare earth, a host of critical metals, inert gases etc.
