The new axis of evil - Erdogan,Mahathir and Imran. All these countries are worst violators of human rights.Turkey's
treatment of Kurds living in Turkish Occupied Kurdistan is far worse than that of any minority in India.Lets not forget the Armenian Genocide.Pakistan military's 1971 genocide of Bengalis is the worst perpetrated on the South Asian soil. Thanks to Indira Gandhi and Nixon they got away with it.As for Malaysia - of the two major minorities :Chinese and Indians ,the latter fare far worse.Chinese are financially too powerful for Mahathir.Secondly Beijing will come to their defence if they are harmed.Indians of Malaysia on the other hand are financially and numerically a weak minority. To add insult to injury Congress GOI always turned a blind eye when Indian(Hindu) minorities were under attack.Indian minorities in Africa is a good example. As for Pakistan : Hindus were at least 15% of the population in 1947.Now 2%?This happened while Congress was in power. Its open season on Hindus everywhere including India when you have Congress in power in India.

He resigned due to political fight between two parties in the coalition.

The king has given the parties 10 days to sort it out.

Political turmoil all around.

Anwar Ibrahim is supposedly next in line. He is a lot more diplomatic than Mahathir.

Contrary to popular belief, mahathir is not an Islamist but just a big mouth who doesn’t control his gap and speaks on things he has no knowledge about.

How is Ibrahim ideologically (compared to Mahathir)?

Thanks to Congress,India's military could never come to aid of Indian minorites overseas.Uganda is a good example. We will never know how many died when Idi Amin expelled them.IG led GOI just turned a blind eye.
Only those holding Indian nationality were allowed in.Most of second and third generation of Indians - Ugandan nationals - became stateless as Amin annulled their Ugandan nationality. Not only did IG refuse any help but instead banned them from returning to India. In the end it was the British PM Heath who took these stateless people in.There was deafening silence from Congis and other lefties clamouring to take in Rohingyas etc.I don't remember GOI ever speaking out against mistreatment of PIOs in other countries - Malaysia included.Modi is the only Indian leader man enough to stand up against mistreatment of PIOs.

  • Malaysian king chooses Muhyiddin Yassin over Mahathir to be prime minister
    • The king’s decision dramatically upended expectations that Mahathir Mohamad would keep his position as prime minister
    • Malaysia’s week-long political impasse began last Sunday when lawmakers met to ostensibly push a political coup, resulting in Mahathir’s resignation

Any idea about his views and relation wrt India? The previous senile old man spoiled the good relations between India and Malaysia.

Yassin will be no different from other Malay(Moslem) politicians when it comes to dealing with Malasia's two ethnic minorities - Chinese(24%,Buddhist/Christians) and Indians(7%,Tamil Hindus).Chinese are numerically and financially more powerful than Indians who usually are more frequently at the receiving end for worse treatment from Moslem Malays.Racial discrimination against non-Malays is just about official policy of the Malasian government. Its a slightly milder form of apartheid as was practiced in RSA by the Boers.Yet none of the so called
progressive liberals any where or the discredited UNHRC utter a word in disgust. That is reserved for Modi and India. No Malay politician will ever deviate from the Malay Apartheid policy. For GOI to continue friendly relations with the regime in Malasia would be an act of betrayal of Malasian Indians. We should warn the Malay leaders in no uncertain terms to cease and desist pursuing anti-India acts and also impress upon them to treat Malasian Indians fairly, justly and last but not least respect and protect their religious rights before friendly relations can resume.

I am in Malaysia now. This is word for word true.

Most of the Malaysian Indians here would run away from the country given a choice.

Yes, no one is surprised here. He had it coming by going against the party and prime minister on multiple occasions.

The current prime minister (Yassin) is from the same party as he is.

I'll never understand the apprehension to projecting soft power and reinforcing it through religion.

The hell is more important to this country, Bollywood or religion?
