Indians don't have their traditional apparels very often. Wear whatever you want. Moreover, the kurta you're wearing looks tight on you.

Get a loose one you're comfortable with. Indian traditional clothes are known for being loose & comfortable.
Come on, we aren't that subtle & different people. Wear whatever you usually do.

its traditional ! but in India, we dont usually stick on to the ground rules of wearing traditional dress..
but whatever is comfortable.
So..relax and have a wonderful stay in India.
