Is there any filter inbetween being used? As in Indore a filter is also being installed before the water being let into the tank.

No there is no filter in between. Since the water is mainly used for replenishing the water table, the filter isn't really necessary.

This everything is true but we need to store the water in big way. That can happen if soil's water holding capability increases. That can happen only if we use organic fertilizers and Plant trees in big way. We have to revive the river. The only way out is to plant trees in big way which makes soil pours and increases its water holding capability. This is exactly sadguru does. After promoting Kaveri calling in big way, now he is on a mission to improve the soil. Why think small, why not use this world to store water. Why not use the soil as a reservoir to store water.
