Pakistan may finally go ahead with the IP pipeline. But how are they going to fund the project? If they go ahead with the project they risk cutting off their ties with the US. Without the US aid, Pakistan will not be able to last over a year. How will they pay for the fuel? Iran does not give freebies and concessions. Chinese are unwilling to fund Pakistan as they have realise its a white elephant.

For Pakistan the line is feasible only if it comes to India so that they can collect transit fees. Pakistan itself has enough gas in Balochistan to feed itself.
