Has anyone watched Niraj Rais latest interview?

He has made an interesting comment.

Sanauli people were 85% Harappan and up to 15% Gangetic ancestry (haven't revealed what he meant). Much of the area East and South of Sanauli was in Neolithic tribal state with small isolated populations.

One who has read history wouldn't be surprised but for some it will indeed be a shocking assessment.

BTW population density of India in 2500bce was less than a person per square km.

95% residing in the sapta-sindhu.

How is that calculated??
Based on estimates.

About 8-10 million people in entire South Asia in 2500bce. Most the the population settled around North Western India and parts of Maharashtra-Malwa.

5-7 million estimated IVC population.

50 million population estimated around 250bce Mauryan empire.
