this is surely 155mm gun and india doesn't have them, so they are testing them i guess, not sure which gun is this one

The only time i am ready to forego indigenous development are to get hand on these beasts... How is K9 compared to them? I know one is tracked and another wheeled, but compare purely from gun subsystem.

K9 is better in terms of range, have a longer barrel, also tracked chassis permitts better mobility in difficult terrain and better armor, on the other hand these wheeled designs have lower service costs, are lighter and perhaps more mobile on paved roads.

Hard to say, characteristics are probably comparable, but K9 have a longer barrel which means longer range.

No, the M46s does not have such a chassis and not 6 main "wheels".

Denal offers 25liter chamber 155mm of 52cal barrel where as the chamber size of BAE gun is perhaps 23 liter..

Bigger the chamber more explosive you can pack in after the projectile, Hence longer range..

They didn't even send out RFI. Have great expectations now. (Want IA to notify that it bought 500 Leopard 2A7 and has sold the remaining T-55 and Vijayanta for scrap and want them to say that they sneaked 200 Anders or 2S25, 500 K9, 1 million FN-SCAR, 500,000 USP .45 Match, and what-not)

Er, the K-9 has only 6 wheels. The first one is either the idler or the sprocket. The M-46 has seven roadwheels
