these unofficial wars is what is improving our equipment . The government sees funding the military as a burden , but due to these crises here and there our army keeps getting budget increments every year . If our borders had been dormant , the army would have not been funded adequately . Plus our soldiers gain lots of experience . Crossing the LoC used to be a daily affair before the recent ceasefire. Our Commandos gained experience in laying ambushes on pak military patrols and demolishing pak army posts through the violence on LoC . Similarly our SFs gained experience in cross border long range recce missions and cross border anti terror strikes .
