KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) adds another feather in its cap by carrying two passengers in its flight from Lahore to Karachi in toilet due to non-availability of seats, Geo News reported Tuesday.

The captain of the national flag carriers' flight PK 303 accommodated two passengers in the plane's toilet, as all the seats in the plane were occupied and there was no more seat left for them.

Through introduction of its amazing new service for its valued passengers, PIA really does justice to its slogan 'Great people to fly with)'.

This reminds me of a Indian Airlines flight Bhubneshwar to Delhi around 8 years back. The airline had a senior official who had to fly to Delhi urgently and the flight was 100% full. The ground staff approached a couple with a 8-9 year old kid and asked them to take the kid on their lap for the entire journey so that the big Sahib could travel.
Needless to say that the ground staff had to be escorted off the plane to save him from the passengers of the flight.

PIA is in trouble like most other airlines today but Pak govt cannot bail it out

PIA is in trouble like most other airlines today but Pak govt cannot bail it out
because Pak Govt itself is bankrupt

yes it is banned in most countries.They were forced to lease(FREE) old B777-200(thanks to their UAE muslim brothers), so that they can fly major sectors like UK, USA


Problem with poor pakis living abroad is, that they can not or dont want to fly other airlines as they are subjected for rigorous checking and behavior by the airline staff .They are forced to fly in PIA.

and more over no major international airline except Arabs fly to pakistan..and only pakis fly to pak land as no gora tourist want to visit there

those must be new class of V.VIP seats, with private cabine, with running water and additional facilities, other passangers of that flight must be envy of this class of passangers who flies without seat belts. Pakistan airlines must say do practice customer is king policy, pakistani style.
