Nah, it's more like because you're not white like him.
Obama came to India and lectured us on intolerance on our soil. He ain't white. Oprah Winfrey came to India and said "you people still eat with your hands?" remarking at the lack of spoons as some sort of deficiency. This kinda arrogance comes from what they have been taught back home.

Christian doesn't mean just Church going Christian, but someone who has grown in a culture of the Christian savior complex. Even the atheist Democrats who don't consider themselves Christians also carry the same savior complex which comes from Christianity's obsession with "saving" the world. The base ingredient for this cocktail is to live in the assumption that everyone else is inferior and needs saving.

Chinese ain't bother to change others like that. Nor do Indians or Japanese. There is no burning desire within Asians to convert the "other" to our way of doing things. Ain't nobody want to promote the use of chopsticks the way Oprah was promoting spoons. That's ingrained civilizational intolerance. China isn't the one giving a platform to the Dalits and Khalistani gangs of India to vent out against India. It's the US. China at least has a bone to pick with us for our patronage to Dalai Lama. The US doesn't even have a border touching India. They do it out of sheer pathology.

Uighurs should be thankful to the Chinese communist party, without communist party China might become a Buddhist country and Buddhists may be not as tolerant to other religions as communist are.

Most Chinese may claim we are athiests, but deep inside we still believe in Buddhist values and teachings, but they are not very complete and organized, so now people just dismissed them as our superstitions.
You guys should stop bashing Indians in favour of Pakistanis. I see many chinese supporting Pakistanis against Indians.

If that is the case why did China invade and brutally oppress Buddhists in Tibet?
In Chinese government eyes, they go after only separatists, not Muslims, not Christians, not Buddhists... the government doesn't care what they believe.

Trust takes time to build, India is one of China's most important market, the relations will be improved, all Chinese leaders call India "a friend of China". the relations are not good but also not that bad.

You can't say China hates India, all Chinese know this India guy because all Chinese public school teach about this guy, China made many movies and documentaries about him. India probably doesn't have a Chinese household name in this regard.

There are different types of propaganda. I have already talked about a type of propaganda that selectively picks facts to promote a specific viewpoint. This technique is called using truth in propaganda. Now, I would like to introduce this forum to another propaganda technique. This technique relies on earning your sympathy by portraying itself to be the victim of the same bad entity that torments you. We feel that PDF torments India. And, now we are learning that PDF is also tormenting China. So India and China must have a bond now. There you have it -- the sympathy propaganda in action.

To put the things in perspective for those who are getting carried away, less than a week ago, during all the CAB protest chaos, our great Asian neighbor China unilaterally attempted to introduce a bill on Kashmir in the UN. Luckily, it had no support from US, Russia, France and Britain and therefore went nowhere.

As far as Sri Dalai Lama is concerned, where else could he have gone? His life was in danger. Therefore he sought refuge among fellow Dharmiks where he thought he would be safe. It is not India's fault that China invaded and occupied Tibet.

Tibet was invaded by China in 1950. Before that, Tibet was an independent nation.

Once again, my question is, why did China invade a Buddhist country if Chinese consider themselves Buddhists?

All furgitives can say that they have nowhere to go but your home, and if China had an anti India "exile government" operating in China, I guess India also won't be happy.

You can make anybody a fugitive by invading his country and threatening his life.Tomorrow, if a more powerful country invades China, you could be made a fugitive.

Once again, answer my question, why did China a "Buddhist" country invade another Buddhist country -- Tibet?

No, it wasn't. Tibet became part of China in Yuan and Qing dynasty, Beijing has several Dalai Lama's palaces when they lived and stayed in Beijing when reporting to the Qing emperors. Some died in Beijing.

No sir. Tibet was never a part of China. At times however, China was part of Tibet. Using your logic, India can stake a claim on UK :)

We don't really think we are Buddists but we believe many Buddist teachings, Tibet is always part of China, it's not invading. foreign maps before 1949 always showed Tibet part of China.

Video made by US state department during WW2, long before PRC founded.\

Are you suggesting that communists are more tolerant than Buddhists? When was the last time a Buddhist nation invaded another nation and killed millions of unarmed citizens?

I have seen footage of Chinese soldiers shooting at unarmed Buddhist monks trying to escape Tibet.
