Thanks in advance.

Please post the components.

Also, do you think that most of these newer cards might be supported by Windows 11 (since there is some recommended hardware)?
go for rtx 3050 and ryzen 5 5600x. it will be bangon for upper medium setting 1080p gaming and usual workloads.

For gaming desktop with 32GB RAM (let's say budget Rs 1.5 to Rs 2 lakh)

1. Is ant-pc recommended?

2. Any good brands recommendation?

Don't build it yourself unless you are an old hand at it.

Instead, within your budget, look around for the best CPU. GPU, Mother board, RAM, SSD drives cost wise and buy them individually.
Once you have bought all parts, get them assembled.

It will be cheaper than anything you buy in the market.
yes this is also a way , but if he builds it himself he will learn the skill to build and can maintain it himself as well , this is a basic skill that everyone should know atleast of our generation assuming :/

you can go a intel build as intel is currently the fastest especially in terms of gaming , if you are looking for a mixed workload , gaming, coding, rendering , video editing , I would suggest go for AMD platform however i must say AMD is gonna release a new series of desktop processors and platform it would be on new socket AM5 but that is going to be released at the end of Q2 this year so if you can wait that would be a good deal too.

INTEL BUILD

  • Intel Core i7-12700K
  • Asus ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming Wi-Fi D4
  • Samsung 980 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD/970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
  • Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB 32GB 3600 CL-18 Memory
  • Corsair/Deepcool 240 AIO Cooler
  • Corsair iCUE RGB 5000X White Case/Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini ATX Mid Tower Case
  • Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070
  • Power Supply: Corsair SF 750 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply/RMx White Series 750 Watt 80 Plus Gold
AMD BUILD

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
  • CPU Cooler: Corsair/Deepcool 240 AIO Cooler
  • Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard
  • Memory: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
  • Storage: 980 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD/970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
  • Video Card: GeForce RTX 3070
  • Case: iCUE RGB 5000X White Case/Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini ATX Mid Tower Case
  • Power Supply: Corsair SF 750 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply/RMx White Series 750 Watt 80 Plus Gold

these are balanced builds and wont break your bank, please find the cheapest price for each component among popular online retailers like primeabgb, tlggaming, mdcomputers and amazon to name a few

assuming you will be using windows 11 both of these build will support it and you can buy a online key for 1000 RS

for any further queries let me know

OHH btw found this super sweet deal on amazon for this RTX 3070

amazon link

if you look at price per gigabyte 32gb kit is the perfect sweet spot / goldilocks zone for RAM because most of the ram manufacturers have shifted to 4gb drams also it would future proof the build as RAM usage is only going higher(windows itself uses 4 gb nowadays) and you can re use the ram in future build as well.

display, input device is a generic item that's why i left it out i assumed he can pick and choose whatever he likes

as for sound nowadays motherboards all have decent quality audio chip or DAC built in , sound cards are all but useless only relevant for audiophiles , he can pair it with his choice of headphones /speakers

Thanks to superfast ssd, 2x dual channel is not a game changer now a days. single channel doble bandwidth just do fine. Two ram with heat sink is a good choice. [Olden days, when hdd ruled, 4x ram or 8x ram increased system speed, loading apps, os etc]
For fhd gaming 16gb is fine, with rtx 3070, so my question is, Fhd or 4k, not about price or future proof.
32gb[4x8/2x16] is good considering future and for VM, 3d multitasking etc.
I/p device ok, but display depends on gpu- not a easy choice.
Sound card - yes, and it depend on mobo, asus is good, very good, but I'm talking about speaker or headset ?
Sound card is good for htpc, which uses low end mobo.

Dual channel is very relevant SSD has nothing to do with memory bandwidth it only helps in loading times.
Dual channel will always be better than Single channel , similarly Quad channel will be better than Dual channel.

Price per gigabyte is very relevant metric after all cost is one of the most important factor would you pay more for something or less??

16gb is also fine I guess that ultimately depends upon him , I would personally recommend 32 gb as everything is very memory intensive these days and even games are getting more multithreaded more memory intensive and this trend will continue in the future i am using same kit of 32Gb RAM that i bought in 2016.

as for monitor it is a generic item and it is going to depend on the size preference of the user any high refresh rate monitor is fine all these brands are just using samsung or lg or AU optronics panel.

You are right, but my question is why 32, if you considering 4k, then rtx 3080/ti is needed. Since you are using quad channel, your system is fast, but considering with dual channel, the difference it little unless you are using two high end 3d application or running vm.
Display , yes, but gpu also having display specific features, amd specific less exp than nvidia. For 3d application, first thing comes in is gpu, for fhd/basic 4k- rtx3070[16gb] and full 4k- rtx3080/ti[32gb]. [quad channel better than dual channel / I used 4x single channel and 4x quad channel/2x dual, now 1x single channel, its improve multitasking loads mostly].
