One of the smartest things an insurgent force can do is draw a line between foreign occupiers and local collaborators on the basis of ethnicity by sparing the locals. This was seen in Bangladesh '71, and will hopefully be seen again in Balochistan & especially in KPK/FATA (significant chunk of Pak Army is Pashtun).

Pakistan army needs to be degraded and eventually destroyed if the region has to be saved by Saudi total domination. Saudis ca not fight but is trying to buy Paki cheap soldiers to fulfill their plan of creating "greater middle east" and control world's oil and then, dictate to countries like China and India who need oil to grow economically.
China already has alternative..that is Oil from Russia. India is trying to get oil from Venezuala,Iran etc .
Iran is the last major hurdle standing in the way of total Saudi domination with Pakistan as hired servant to do "dirty deeds"
Once Iran is destroyed by Saudi+Paki combo, the remaining oil producing nations of Middle East will become slaves to Saudi as they don't have strong military.
If Paki is degraded and economically crumbles..this entire evil Saudi plan will go to flames. Lets see how it evolves !

Except for the case India starts to share border with Iran and able to blow their country militarily & economically.

Oil is not the game for long. US, EU, China, India & Japan consume more oil than rest of world combined. They all have targets to stop production IC engines and introduce electric vehicles within varying time frames of 10-30 years. Even when they succeed even 30% of their target, oil based economies will fall into crisis. Bigger crisis than Africa.

Its true that oil will become less and less important due to alternative energy sources such as solar, nuclear etc.
Also, oil producers are in economic crisis and are dying to sell oil at any price to boost their economies back.
New oil producers..lke USA and Russia are also churning out more and more oil.
Oil economies will be forced to diversify their economies within next 10 to 20 years . Saudi has already started doing it.
On a separate note..Why protectors of Paki suddenly rushing to save Paki from economic collapse. ANSWER: If Paki collapses, it will become useless for these powers and will not be in a condition to fight proxy wars against countries like India, Russia etc. They need to keep Paki standing to be used later.
