ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi reiterated that Pakistan was willing to talk to India and was committed to eliminating terrorism and dismantling any networks operating from the country.

"We condemn terrorism. We do not and will not allow Pakistani soil to be used against anyone and that includes India," he told India's CNN-IBN news channel.

"We have taken considerable steps in the last two years to deal with this situation."

Rebuffing Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's recent remarks regarding regional stability, Qureshi said terror groups are active in India as well as Pakistan.

Qureshi said terror networks should not be linked to a specific country as it is a global phenomenon. — Agencies

Did Pakistan ever had any political party or leader who really cared about their future, developments ..... :emot154: Whoever comes to the ruling side either keep on pushing Kashmir issue and on the other side encourage ISI for more border intrusions by militant groups....

Pity on people of Pakistan....

No talks 'till Pakisthan dismantles the entire terrorist infrastructure. Man Singh said it right, when he said, you can't be talking to us, on the one hand and stabbing us in the back, on the other.

We can have pointless talks, in which there will be no movement over Kashmir and no further progress on terrorism. That suits us just fine, because Pakisthan is the one getting screwed over by terrorism most nowadays anyway.

Or we can have fruitful talks, which given India's rise up the global pecking order, Pakistan will have to initiate.

Any condition for talks, will have to first require that our satellites view a good number of 'suspected' camps we hand over to Pakistan be dismantled. We, the people of Mumbai, are willing to put our pride aside for a later resolving of the Mumbai attacks case. For now, we want you to stay the f%ck out of Kashmir.

Rage do you think the IA would havent took a single photo of the terror camp in the PoK and Pakistan via Satellites or UAVs?. This is insane. They are now the #1 rogue state and how do we can see they will take a sinlge concrete step over dismantling the terror structure present there. Pakistan think they can make us bleed with this terror, but it is them who handled the knife without knowing which is handle and which is blade.

Oh sure we can talk. We can talk about the weather in pakistan or india, about how pakistan fixes matches, about how they go inside mosques to kill fellow muslims etc. We can do all the time pass we want.

The real issue can only be handled by the real power and that power is the biggest terrorist organization in the world, Pakistan Army and under it ISI. India has a policy of not talking with terrorists. So either the pak army is disbanded for pakistan civilian govt to hope to talk to india or destroyed. If both can't happen then nothing else will ever happen.

Ofcourse, they would. Put the IA aside for a moment, even the EU has pictures of terrorist camps in that country! Which is why, if you read my posts carefully, you will find that I said the IA hands over a list of terrorist camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, and they dismantle it, as a precondition for talks.

If they don't take steps, concrete or otherwise, we have pointless talks. Give our Foreign Office and theirs something to keep themselves occupied.

This thing india has to understand that usa is now in perfect grip of pakistan. For obama to get re-elected in next term he needs an honorable exit from afghanistan and also if india wants to keep its investment secure in afghanistan and to make sure that a-pak dont get spill over into india it has to talk to pakistan.pakistan today holds all the keys and its for india to decide if it want to progress o get embroiled in af-pak quagmire.pakistan will be much happy if india gets into the mess and make mess of itself at home.

Obama has made it amply clear that the US is not leaving Astan in a hurry. At best the additional troops he sent to Astan last year while announcing a timeline for withdrawal will go back home. In the meanwhile if their is a terror attack on the US,UK God help pakistan.

Right from 26/11 uptil the disaster at sharm el sheik the narrative of qureshi was we want to have a talk, which would at times translate to, india is avoiding the talks, prior to which they had been cornered on unleashing terrorism on india publically, once that round happened it was, let us further have talks and india obliged by having foreign secretary level talks, which was an attempt on part of Pakistan to hijack the whole discussions but an act which did not yield them much and then came the stance of no pre-conditions can be set, which effectively meant that india should not be talking about terrorism, india as would be the case pretty soon caved in and this was followed by foreign minister level talks where the press conference was a free for all affair and then qureshi started chanting no talks if india intends to have him come over at india "for a leisure trip" and now this and may i add what a dramatic turnaround.

After the rebuttal of sorts from the US which did not heed to their insistence of raising Kashmir with india, Pakistan seems to have reached the same spot they found themselves in when between 26/11 and sharm el sheik they were pleading india to have talks with them. Amazing now qureshi wants to have a talk, wonder what does he have to say about the leisure trip now.

Let us see how the plot plays this time round, and scrutinize what are the instructions of the GHQ handed out to qureshi!

obama said many things even before getting elected and even after becoming president. If you look at his last 2 years log you will see whatever he said he was unable to implement. so never go by obama's words.Today after defeat in elections only thing is on obama's mind is how to win 2nd term of presidency and for that he needs to end war in afghanistan and pakistan holds the key to it.obama didn't want to make pakistan angry and thats the only reason he didnt come down heavily on pakistan as GOI has expected insted he said for india to rise it needs stable pakistan. The truth is obama is not in position to annoy pakistan.and hence in coming month you will see pressure back on india to talk to pakistan on kashmir from usa.If you see this visit of obama to india was a failure for india but big win for both usa and pakistan.only thing he did is that gave empty words on UNSC to india and completely tried to skirt terrorism and pakistan issue.
