Shakargarh bulge has traditionally been Pakistan's bait for India. This piece of land bearing a Hindu name, is strategically located where Indian Punjab and J&K meet. It's also where the Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara and ISI's ambitious Kartarpur terror/narco pipeline, aka "the Kartarpur corridor" is located. Pindi knows that the corridor will be a 2-way street for counterintelligence ops, and that if India ever cold-starts, Shankargarh presents a juicy bait to South Block.

So it's up to war-games and shoring up defensive fortifications in the bulge.

More info through sat image analysis by Raj Forty Seven aka Col (R) Vikayak Bhat.

In the event of a war Pakistan will simply blow up Kartarpur and blame it on India

In case of any limited war, I am assuming the 6th armoured HQ located at Gujranwala will be the first to go up in smoke along with the Runways of Sialkot International Airport.

Some OSINT research on 6th Armoured

- 1st Armoured Brigade (2 Armoured Regiments x44=88 MBT)+(Mech Inf Bn (M113)
- 2nd Armoured Brigade (2 Armoured Regiments x44=88 MBT)+(Mech Inf Bn (M113)
- 3rd Armoured Brigade (1 Armoured Regiment x44 MBT)+(Mech Inf Bn (M113)
- Divisional Armoured Recon Regiment (26 MBT) (can be attached to 3rd Armoured Brigade)

The Divisional Armoured Recon Regiment as RHQ 2 MBT and 3 Arm Recon Sqns of:
- SHQ 2 MBT
- A & B Troop (3 MBT each)
- C & D Troop (4 M113 + 3 M113 w/ATGM each)

152 M109A2 in 8 SP Medium Regs of 18 guns each
-3 Regiments in each in 6th Armoured Divisions

- Also known to be equipped with Pakistan's latest Al Zarrar Tanks
- Each Regiments have approximately 50 APC's each, so a total of 300 APC's

8th IABG of the PA is also know to operate along side the 6th Armoured.

The IABG (independent armoured brigade group)
2 armoured regiments,
1 mechanised regiment
1 artillery
1 AD regiment .

Thats 88 MBT, 50 APC, 18 Arty and 18 AD

Take this with a pinch of salt as its all taken from various sources...

Sikhs would know India won't be the one that blows up Gurudwaras.

The wargames included additional armored brigades. Top brass oversaw it (highly unusual for an Ex of such a relatively small scale). For now, their constructions in the bulge appear to be defensive in nature (redirected river, new tree-lines, etc.), and a disproportionate amount of their infrastructure is located in the southern half of the bulge facing Indian Punjab vs. northern, which is contiguous with J&K Samba sector.

These buggers don't have enough water to drink, their dams are drying up and there's hardly any water for irrigation but they're filling the 200m space between parallel rail and road embankments with water? They would need thousands of cusecs of water for it to be effective as an obstacle system. So where's the water for the grandiose plans of their pansy generals?

I take this with a pinch of salt!
