Re: Pakistan to lease Gilgit-Baltistan to China & possible Indian resp

It is important to be on toes. Chinese didn't do anything miraculous; they simply followed what they had planned in a timely fashion. The reason why our government found it shocking was that for the last 12 years, India was sleeping, mired in corruption, scams, rioting, terror-loving, elitist debates, filmfare awards etc while China calmly went about developing their military industrial complex, manufacturing factories of different products and dealing in hardcore business deals with the rest of the world.

We have virtually zero presence in Latin American countries, while China is either top or second biggest trade partner with some or the other.

We have reasonable presence in Africa but Chinese raced us by moving in 12 years ahead.

We have had zero presence in Oceania in terms of significant trade and development while it took 12 years and PM Modi to initiate a strategic engagement with Pacific Rim and other Oceania countries.

So technically, we have a lot to catch up to. We are in a deep bowl of soup in terms of strategic-military-geopolitical arena.

I hope Doval is developing assets that can launch massive action inside Pakistan in case they try to conduct major terror attacks against our country.

He is afterall, the second most powerful man in the country right now after the Prime Minister, and has already warned Pakistan if they tried to act funny.

_________

What we need is a robust military industrial complex that can supplement our interests in this region as well as extended neighbourhood.
What would dovel do if in future election another stupid comes who talks of sweet and negates all work done by present NSA ...

All above can only started if we become economic power house

Which requires current gov to support small-middle scale industry which i donot see happening all i see is helping higher scale industries

Even if India throws 10 times the money as China, Pakis won't lease it to us.
Yes, because zaid hamid will not allow them to lease it to us .

Re: Pakistan to lease Gilgit-Baltistan to China & possible Indian resp

well one consideration is positive ....if the popçulation of GB goes under ccprule , then
those in Indian Kashmir will learn to be grateful and keep well behaved - otherwise they could be next

Not to worry - China will learn from what America did with the disputed territory of Okinawa, and build gigantic radar and airfield facilities all over Gilgit Baltistan as well as stock it with enough firepower to scorch the entire Gangetic Plain in five minutes or hack the entire Indian power grid with the press of a button.
#1 currently you are more powerful than india , keep hoping that will last for ever

#2 if you attak india beyind a certain point you clean cities will be nuked and you live underground
for a few hundred years - if possible

#3 there are forces far more powerful than india which want to split you to pieces - while youre
looking in the wrong direction - as far as they are concerned it is great that your attention is centered
in the wrong place .

#4 ccpland vs india - - there are new global forces already in place which make india vs ccpland to be old hat
these forces intend to break both india , china , russia etc into smaller pieces - so your continued buildp against
india instead of grouping WITH india , is suiting them fine

#5 keep an eye in east turkestan - wont be much longer to independence - 40 years more .

#6 your ccp- party gonna be irrelevant - younger gen not interested in all that motherland
junk - they want good life

What is India most concerned about in Gilgit-Baltistan? Is there any update on the 2012 rumor that China may lease it?
