Considering the reports of BSF accusing the Baki side of using the drones last week, it could also be possible that our guys shot their drone which fell on their side, they are trying to preempt future accusations from our side by putting out news items.

We seriously need another word for such toys, Using the word "Drone" for this toy is demeaning for predators, Herons and original big birds........

ISLAMABAD: An Indian spy drone has been shot down by Pakistani military forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber, Azad Kasmir, according to Inter Services Public Relations statement.

According to the military, the drone had violated Pakistani airspace after which it was targeted by Pakistani forces and brought down for "violation of Pakistan's territorial integrity".

The military maintains that the 'spy drone' is used for aerial photography.

The Himalayan territory of Kashmir, which is the main contention, between the two countries, is divided between India and Pakistan by the UN-monitored de facto border of LoC. The territory is claimed in full by both the countries. Meanwhile, Islamabad has summoned the Indian High Commissioner Raghavan to lodge protest over intrusion of its airspace.

Once again FAKE NEWS by PAKIS.

The news should be "Pakistan shoots down it's own Chinese Drone and claims it was Indian, ends up embarrassing itself again in front of the world"

Pak Army is a COWARD and LIAR Army... right now they are killing innocent Kashmiris.

Pakistan says Indian 'spy drone' shot down, India denies

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...ot-down-India-denies/articleshow/48087863.cms

NEW DELHI: Indian military on Wednesday denied Pakistani army's claims of shooting down an "Indian spy drone" along the Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber, in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

A spokesperson of the Indian Army said: "Some reports of a drone crash in PoK are being referred to. No drone or UAV crash of the Indian Army has taken place."

An official of the Indian Air Force also denied the claim.

"An Indian spy drone was shot down by Pakistani troops which intruded into Pakistan along (the Line of Control) near Bhimber today. The spy drone is used for aerial photography," a statement from the Pakistani military said.

A photo supplied by the Pakistani military appeared to show a Chinese-made DJI Phantom 3, said Huw Williams, the Unmanned Systems Editor at IHS Jane's International Defence Review.

"Due to its limited operating range - about two km - if the Indian military is using the system it would most likely be for close reconnaissance or security work," Williams said.

"Our Middle East editor believes that Islamic State are using similar systems." :biggrin2:

Since 2004, the United States has conducted 419 drone strikes in Pakistan, targeting suspected members of the Taliban and al Qaeda. The missiles have killed thousands of suspected militants and hundreds of civilians, according to media reports collated by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism.

Pakistan often protests that the US strikes are an infringement of its national sovereignty and has been pushing for its own lethal drones.

Either you believe that ...or just convince yourself that it was Chinese drone..

Oh yeah...We can expect such fabricated news flooding the media from Pakistan and Pakistan establishment playing this at Diplomatic levels trying to stage their lies in the coming days.
They are trying hard to rake up the K issue at international level.

Them Paki a$$w#0r3s are trying to do an Ukraine with India, trying to create a confusion, shout out loud and get brownie points. Pakistan is trying to make them relevant in the context.. :D, now that nobody is missing them :D :D :D

Funny thing is the world is watching and credibility of Pakistan will stoop to new levels. That a Goood thing!!!

IMO, A few nations who are in SCO wants India and Pakistan to set things straight for the better performance of SCO and a better regional stability with regards to various regional establishment where India is a part of and Pakistan a headache.

With better understanding and communication between major players in the region, any 3rd party interference to regional integrity can be nullified thus making such regional establishments function without a hitch.
Its a must for trade, infrastructure and other economic corridors.

Pakistan is very certain that when they sit across a table for negotiation with India, they are going to lose J&K and a few other areas which Pakistan has illegally occupied. They are trying to derail any peace process :bs: in that regard and show themselves as a damsel in distress.(With all due apologies to damsels world over).

Pak is trying to shout out loud to the regional players(Now that Russia is looking east) that stability can be achieved only if their agenda is in motion.
:BS:
With meager economy, trade and terrorism, Pak can be ignored or "tied down" by the regional players if Pak becomes too much of a pain.

===

China:Hey Pak, make yourself relevant in the region.
Pak:Sure.. We will rake up the K issue again and start firing across the Indian border
China:

Pak removes spy cameras from international border

BARMER: Pakistan has removed spy cameras installed at several places along the international border with Rajasthan about a fortnight ago, following objections by Border Security Force (BSF).

There were around ten cameras installed at the height of 15-20 feet, near the border with Barmer, have been removed by the neighbouring country yesterday, BSF DIG (Barmer) P Gautam said here on Wednesday.

The spy cameras — facing Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Ganganagar — were installed by Pakistan at several places along the international border with Rajasthan.

BSF had raised objection after which Pakistan had stopped the practice and some cameras which were facing Barmer side were removed.

Earlier, Pakistan removed cameras from near Jaisalmer.

Drone cameras for police operations
Mohammad Asghar — Updated Jul 03, 2015 09:47am

RAWALPINDI: The city police, for the first time, will be using drone cameras for surveillance and police operations.

Some 50 drone cameras were recently acquired by the Punjab Police and one such camera, weighing about 1200 grams was handed over to the Rawalpindi district police on Thursday. However, the cops are yet to receive training in operating the new gadget.

Along with district police, Police College Sihala and Punjab Highway Patrolling Police will also receive drone cameras for surveillance of criminal dens, protest demonstrations and terrorist hideouts.

The drone cameras are easy to operate and the built in cameras shoot videos and take photographs. The footage is transmitted live to a laptop or mobile phone device on the ground. The operator of device can guide it to change angles while shooting videos. The maximum flight time for each device is 25 minutes.

“The drone cameras will be used by police for monitoring and surveillance, especially during protests but an expert will be needed to operate it,” City Police Officer Israr Ahmed Abbasi told Dawn.

He said an IT expert from among the qualified police personnel will be trained to operate the device.

The remote controlled drone flies at a speed of 15 meters per second and captures visuals from a height of up to 60 meters.
