Pakistan Armed Forces have shown keen interest in Russia air defense systems and tanks.
Major General Naveed Ahmed, Director General of Defense Procurement Pakistan, was speaking with Sputnik on Tuesday. According to him, Pakistan Armed Forces have a heightened interest in Russian air defense systems, tanks, arms and ammunition. Ahmed, leading the Pakistan delegation on the Army-2016 military expo, said,

Our army services are [showing] keen interest in different Russian products. We are looking for the air platform, for any sorts of helicopters; for the army we are looking for tanks, we are looking for anti-tank weapon system and more importantly we are looking for the air defense system.


Army-2016 military expo will continue from September 6 to September 11 in Kubinka, Moscow. It aims to bring together representatives from the Russian defense industry, research institutes, universities, as well as foreign companies. Some 800 Russian and foreign participants are expected to mount exhibitions (close to 7,000) throughout the week.

On Monday, Pakistani Ambassador to Russia Mr. Qazi Kahlilullah told that Minister of Defense Production of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain will be visiting the forum as well. The ambassador reiterated Pakistan’s intention of whipping up a deal on Russian air defense systems. He stated that Pakistan was interested in expanding its military and technical cooperation with Russia. Apart from the Russia air defense systems, Pakistan has shown a keen interest in Russia tanks, anti-tank weapons, ammunition, helicopters and aircrafts.

Pakistan will be looking to invest in top-of-the-line Russian air defense systems in the months to come, focusing on high-end Surface-to-Air missiles. Pakistan is also looking to work closely with China to obtain HQ-9 Surface-to-Air missiles in the near future. More importantly, Pakistan is already in talks to negotiate a deal for Su-35 and Su-37 jets.

T 90 is an Indian variant of T 90 even more heavy than Russian variant due to Kanchan Composite Armor.

Its another thing that Paki's will get T 90 but only in Pipedream.

We are going to test T-90 BHISMA along with OPLOT M or T-99 A2 and which ever will pass tests would be selected as Al HAIDER Tank and would come with TOT. AL KHALID 1 is great Tank and now we are developing AL KHALID II also that would be our Main Tank but this AL HAIDER is another major Tank which would replace our old Tanks starting from T-69 than T-85 and eventually Al ZARRAR

The only thing funny here Porki is your inability to grasp simple facts. (Which isn't surprising really given the state of your education system)


T-90 BHISHMA is the Indian Variant of of the T-90.
BHISHMA, the word itself is the name of a great warrior from one of our holy scriptures.

The Indian Variant has significant indigenous content including our indigenously developed composite armor.
It is heavier than the Russian variant and more protected.

The Russians don't have our variant of the T-90.
So try and deduce how you will test the BHISHMA???

You might test T-90.. but you can never test T-90S or BHISHMA as its called.

If you want to keep living in delusions it's alright. Delusional Porkis are good for us. That way, you'll be caught with your pants down when the war comes.

And obviously you'll be offered air defence systems from the previous generation. That's what happens when you cannot develop your own.
