Post again about pak railways.Pakistani economy is in decline for quite a while because of neglect. Almost every sector of economy in Pakistan is suffering.
After posting on decline of Paki railways, I thought I should dive deeper into decline of other avenues in Pakistan.
Here is a little insight into the decline of Paki cinemas.
Pakistan in 2008 had only 203 cinemas. The number was low but it was still relatively a much better period for cinemas in Pakistan. After 2008 numbers started declining but they managed to be in 3 digits. Things really took a nose dive after a ban from Imran Khan on Indian movies. It went from 116 to 72 in just one year. In 2019 this number reduced to just 72 cinemas in entire country.
Out of 72 cinemas 56 are in punjab province alone. That leaves just 16 cinemas for rest of the Pakistan. These are 2019 numbers, After Coronavirus restrictions things have become even worst.
On OTT front too things aren't good either. The biggest online streaming provider in Pakistan is Netflix, which only has around 87 thousand Netflix subscribers total in entire country of Pakistan.
this thing is even worse than extinct dc emu of mumbaiMakes sense that they want to reduce imports but without proper domestic industry to provide alternative of imports it will lead to price hikes and most likely create a black market for smuggling.
Restricting GDP growth may sound weird but given the fact that Pakistani economy is heavily dependent on imports any growth in GDP will lead to higher demand for imports which is a big worry for bankrupt Pakistan. Such policy will have disastrous effect for middle class in short term and if proper steps to permanently reduce dependency on imports are not taken it could slide Paki economy in a long recession.
This is what happens when you set your priorities wrong.
A small example of wrong priorities:
In 1947 Pakistan had 8,124 km of railways, today it is 7,791 km.

But they have nuclear bomb.
This is the reason why PA is sitting in the head of their government. Armed forces should never be allowed participate in commercial or civilian activity.Pakistan army makes cornflakes , cement , sugar , processed meat , they make buildings and have a lot of other businesses

And this is all what Pakistan army can do they can’t fight they fear death more than even the civilians in PakistanThis is the reason why PA is sitting in the head of their government. Armed forces should never be allowed participate in commercial or civilian activity.
Flow of money is the only way civilian government can control armed forces.
pakistan army tops fighting? They cant risk not enjoying the fruits of their investment in Europe. And this is all what Pakistan army can do they can’t fight they fear death more than even the civilians in Pakistan
The more their exports grow, then so grows imports and hence demand for dollar will increase as well, in case of pakistan it’s more severe because they have next to no domestic economy, it’s mostly import based due to high remittances which they get from a big diaspora, which is why I reiterate that paki economy has stagnated, and is no longer a threat. They axed their own economic feet every year since 1947.
I was just seeing the Pakistani people's Reaction on Twitter on this subject of USD -- PKR value
Two things stand out
1 The Dollarisation of Pakistan Economy will happen much faster ,this means more demand for dollars and fall of Pakistan Rupee
2 Present and Future Inflation is a huge concern and will definitely lead to law and order problems
Discontent with Niazi is growing rapidly
We must take advantage of this situation
Give them more pain
After 15 th November , China will be able to do nothing because of winter
how much will pkr fall (any estimates) before it stops falling >??

If, the evergrande chinese economic crisis explodes, china will cut pakistan loose and demand their loans back. Pakistani economy will crash.
