Pak accuses India of terror; India calls it preposterous

As Prime Minister Manmohan Singh says there is no question of dialogue with Pakistan until there is proof of action against those responsible for 26/11, the police in Lahore have accused India of having links with the attack on the Sri Lankan cricketers on March 3.
New Delhi has responded by calling the claims preposterous. The Prime Minister also accused Pakistan of continuing to try and divert public attention.
Police in Pakistan also suspect an Indian hand in the attack on the police training school
in Manawan on March 30.
"With the help of other intelligence agencies, there has been considerable progress in this case. One thing is for sure that there is an Indian hand behind the attack," said Pervez Rathore, police chief, Lahore.
India, however, is not taking these claims seriously.
"This is a preposterous claim, a red herring. India has been a victim itself, never has it been blamed for such a thing," said Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma.
There are reports that six people, including an alleged Indian spy, have been arrested by Pakistani authorities for suspicious activities in Sinhala area of Rawalpindi.
Pakistan police say the spy was carrying maps of Pakistani cities and important phone numbers. But until their investigations are over, they will not give out the name and other details of the alleged spy.
